It can be. You should fight it when your at a high level or something. Cause when you get it wrong it'll counter attack on you and teh middle one uses Flare. >.< So like... It's best to be at a higher level or you'll eitreh lose or take very long.

Son of Sun? Really annoying. I couldn't figure out for the life of me how to kill it until Crono ran out of magic and I had to start attacking withour Cyclone. Then, by luck, I hit the right Flame...I felt like an idiot...

@selvut998 On the Snes there was a bug (I don't want to use *bug* but *appropriate script* sounds better) that made all the flames counter attack you EXCEPT the correct one when you attacked with cyclone making it way easier to beat without the ruby vests or red mails.

They seemed to have fixed this on the DS remake though.

@Cesiroth It actually was an annoyingly easy boss. Just a pain in the ass to damage and took a fair while if you weren't new game plussing it. To be fair though, it does come at the very end of the prehistoric chapter.

Jesus christ I had such a hard time with the Masamune battle. Yet I had no trouble with Magus, the Black Tyranno or Giga Gaia. Masamune and the Golem Twins gave me the most trouble...I think I threw my controller in a fit of rage at one point.

@thedragoonknight i lost multiple times on the golem sisters BUT i noticed why. my physicals gave them powerful attacks! so i used crono and alya's charged bite thing for a less damaging lightning attack. then i healed with frog. repeated till they died :D
