So far the Apple touch screen products have got THE best touch capabilities. They dont lag. This is the main problem with other touch screens. Now the actual performance such as web surfing and games and other things do perform Apple. And actually I cant stand Apple cause they dont give a decent bluetoofh setup. They dont give adobe which 99% of the net uses. You cant change the HD or battery. So what you get with Apple is what they want you to get and no upgrades except firmware. Apple is a fad

@Thedudeyouremailing flash isn't on 99% of the net. I haven't even noticed it was gone (except maybe a lack of annoying flash ads). You don't need to change battery because it lasts 11 hours and 64gb is plenty when you can stream all your movies and music. The latest firmware upgrade to 4.2 was mint. If you actually had an iPad you would know better.

Youtube encodes there videos so you can watch there media on your ipod. Without that encoding your stupid lil ipod and apple iphone and ipad are junk toys. So to be blunt Flash is on almost every webpage on the internet. Without flash you cant watch or listen to allot of media. And that is the whole point of a smart phone. Duh

@Thedudeyouremailing Flash is dying. HTML5 will replace it. If you look at the media Adobe is now supporting HTML5 and sites will soon deliver HTML5 support FIRST with fallback to flash. Look it up - Flash is on its way out. This is no longer IF its simply WHEN. It's also a shit technology that sucks battery life and introduces malicious code. Also Flash simply isn't on nearly every website on the internet - you are deluding yourself to make your point which is weak at best and ill-informed.

This is a prototype, it won't suck this much upon release...if it does, lenovo fucked up.

This is a cool device but at a thousand bucks you can do so much better...you can get both a tablet (Slate or ipad or anything) AND a netbook like the NC10. It is just kinda useless imo if you can get a great netbook AND a tablet for the price of one of these. Its a cool concept though.

Hold on.. I saw another video where it doesn't come apart but it swivles. I think I'de rather have that one. It's a laptop in which the screen swivles and fold in half and becomes a touchpad tablet. And they said it came out in Jan 2010 and it's only 500 bucks with 2 gigs of ram (you can pay more to upgrade). I don't want to be farting around with pull this thing out of its shell everytime I want to use it as a tablet. Also, I know it's dated but I would like a pen with it.

I mean as far as usable OS, like this hybrid has Linux on the tablet, and Seven on the laptop. Actually I do, and Operating system is what makes all your computer components work together, etc.

Since Windows and Linux are wider available OS's it would take forever to fine tune the OS to every computer on the market, unlike Apple who offers their OS for less than $50 but you need to spend 2x as much as you would for a CT scan.

@CJCA915 Actually, the smart companies that are putting Linux OS' on their tablets are tuning it to work for the tablet in it's own limited designs. The whole point of tablets is supposed to be ease of use and quality over frustration and replace-ability.

Not to mention, there's so much more with everything that Apple puts into consideration of their products, specifically with recyclability, their products are 100% recyclable and high quality, designed to last u for years, whereas pc's and the like are designed to be replaced easily. Well, is Linux used as much as Windows, if Microsoft were to tailer the OS to every computer Windows can run on, they would be wasting time, when a retail copy will run on all systems, if they are new enough, heck, even if they aren't Windows will still run, I was running Vista in VMware player, on 2 of 4 cores, and 1GB of RAM, and it was mighty fast.

When tablets came out, XP was adapted to them, the OS itself is adapted, it's just not as adapted as let's say Apple, for obvious reasons.

Since Windows can run on more than a single line of hardware, like Apple's computers, which is why most people won't buy them, on top of price, they can't have SLI, etc. set-up's, etc.
