Does oanybody know the name of video song? It´s cool. And the bike wonderfull.
Today I have talked with a man in the street. He has an SM R (the same engine than the duke III) and told the bike goes very good and you really feel the vibrations between 6.000 and 7.000 revolutions. Driving in city is nice and through mountain roads very funny. He also said to me once he did 500 km in mountain roads and people in sport bikes finished more tired than him.
No the Duke aint an Enduro - it has the shortest suspension travel of the entire 690 fleet at 140mm front and rear... Plus the underslung muffler is no good for even light off road duties. You will be better off on the SM with 210mm travel or the actual 690 Enduro.
Duke III vs 690 SM... Rode them both yesterday, I liked SM more. Duke is more stable at speed, SM got unstable around 140-150. In curves I likes SM better. At least for me, Duke lost the line if you just touched the brakes (settings?). I felt more comfortable in curves on SM thanon Duke. I'd have hard time deciding between them both. One thing'sfor sure, the new LC4 engine kicks ass!!!

yay it's not made for enduro, but you can visit ktm and see the offroad motorcycles. the engines are pretty equal. peace.
