  • Thanks for washing that steak off a little before you started seasoning it... : \

  • Seering doesn't seal anything, It acually make the steak tougher.

  • How i like to cook my steak is, ------> I don't season my steak at all and what this does is when you season before you cook it draws out the juices. I use olive oil as you do in this video the lets say i want it medium rare . I'll take it off the pan when it rare and then season it put it on a plate cover with tin foil for like 5min leave a little pocket open then you open it up and cut it. You will get a nice juicy pink great crust steak trust me :) . I'm 13 and make restraunt quality steak.

  • i stand corrected, @ AllenRockwell . am doing one as we speak! very tastey...

    WITH OLIVE OIL.

  • anyway du u like it and will i get a satifaction from u, hehe

  • @HmongZboy

    Yes, I like it

No, you will not get satisfaction from me ... I'm guessing you are not my type.

  • @AllenRockwell err, but ok sure i will make it the same as u, which steak du u use, and du u have facebook friend

  • @superbroombroom It is perfect for pan frying at lower temperatures, but I agree with nomissimo that olive oil is not used for high temps. Olive oil starts to burn and get rancid at about 375 degrees F. It has a low smoking point. Canola oil or refined Sunflower oil would be much better choices for pan searing a steak at high temperatures.

  • DO NOT put your pan in the oven if it has a plastic handle !!!!

i learned the hard way . smh

  • i have those pans. from sams club. members mark 11 piece. gonna try them for first time...

  • there is no perfect steak W/O BBQing. what are ya new?

  • You do em just like I do... And it is the BEST steak ever !

  • I wasn't sure how it would go. He started with the green beans w/ shallots and balsamic vinegar but I watched him until finally he cut a piece off and took a bite.

He said, "My god!" and quickly started to cut another piece. And he said THIS IS AWESOME. and it was. It might have even been better than my grilling technique. I was stunned at how good it was. So thank you so much. You made my dinner.

  • I want to thank you. Thank you so much for these instructions. I had a friend in town from the west coast, a police chief. I had planned to treat him to a grilled steak. I'd been practicing for about a year on the grill and was getting really good at it. So I fired up the grill outside and ... nothing. It was out of gas. In complete distress, I ran to the computer to look up how to broil on youtube and found your video. It's quick so it only took a few minutes. So tried what you said.

  • Both nonstic pans and olive oil are bad for high temp cooking, which you should be using for steak, but i suppose you dont have to when your just going to bake it anyway. Might as well use 4 different seasoning blends and a heavy coat of pepper if you are going to cook it like.

  • STEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAKK!!!

  • yummy but can u cut the steak

  • Please dont use olive oil to cook your steak. It's not supposed for those high temperature.

  • @nomissimo It works great every time. I've been using it for years without any problem. Thanks though.

  • @AllenRockwell

Alright :) if it's a tasty steak in the end, that's what counts.

  • @nomissimo should have used butter

  • @nomissimo you should go correct Gordon Ramsay then, maybe he will get another michelin star.... He must be wrong.

  • @banihex

I said it doesn't matter as long as you get a good steak in the end. It's just that olive oil starts to burn at high temperatures. As long as you know what you're doing, I don't care...

  • @nomissimo Ya im only 13 but i am going to culinary school when im 18 im a great chef and i use olive oil and i use it on filet steak so its fine.

  • @nomissimo olive oil is great for high temperatures u moron

  • look good yummy

  • Thanks a lot!

    -college kid-

  • What temp. did you set the oven to?

  • @spencerhughes2255 My oven has two broil settings; "Briol/Hi" and "Broil /Low", I used the high broil setting.

  • @AllenRockwell : I get terrible cramping and diarrhea after eating steaks. My steaks are usually cook to meduim done. Do you think I need to cook the meat until it's well done to kill all the bacteria?

  • @spencerhughes2255 400 degrees(:

  • ive tried this method and it was fantastic, i thought it was a bit too rare so i decided to cut a few slits and leave in the over for a few more minutes.... i was wrong the meat came out a bit too dry. Just follow this exactly and you will get a great tasting steak or if you want it a bit more well done, dont cut slits and leave it in the oven for a few more minutes. goodluck to everyone whos going to try this :D

  • YES!! iv watched alot of cooks fail at making a GOOD LOOKING STEAK! and you just took the cake or should i say steak im trying this method

  • i'd eat that steak ...

  • Perfect, gonna try this now

  • Looks great, I am just a little taken a back you did not wash the steak before seasoning it. Other than that good job.

  • does this method cook the steak medium rare?

  • @captamerica316

    Any way you like it.

  • Thx soo much bro i just tryed it yesterday and it tastes so good.
