its simple to shift gears u kick start drop the gear down all the way to the bottom and half shift up and than its in N than kick start or key start and when the bike is hot shift down to one and before you shift to first gear hold the clutch and than go to gear 1 than slowly let the clutch out and slowly at the same time slowly turn the accelerate and when ur going fast enough hold down the clutch and kick up and accelerate and vice verser and if u wanna slow down its the same.. subscribe plz

shifting by ear is simple without tachometer. the bikes engine in away tells u what to do if i u listen ciorrectly its how i got by nd learned. when it gets to certain point u need to listen for a high pitch rev. like go up. when its goes down u listen for when the rev is at the peak for changing down.

I have "0" experience with any type of manual transmission. but I want to give it a go ahead and trying to learn. so ur saying that I go to first gear with the clutch and then. 2,3,4 with something else

Naw you use the foot shifter for all 4 gears the clutch is the lever on the left handle bar. When you squeeze it, it disengages the engine from the transmission, thus allowing you to shift the gears smoothly. Then you slowly release this lever and the engine engages and you twist the throttle and go.

Well do you have any experience with any type of manual transmission because its basically the same idea. Only the clutch is operated by hand and the shifter by foot. It 1st gear up and then 2 3 4 down. Knowing when to shift is very important as you will either burn up your clutch by shifting to soon or throw a rod by shifting too late. When your rpm's get high you shift. without a tachometer you just have to shift by ear. Its really very easy, it will be second nature in a couple days.

also if you don't know where to plug it in, there is a small rubeer plug on the right side of the bike if you are sitting on it. it is right in front of the gas tank and below it a bit there is also a place to change a fuse up there. you just remove the rubber plug and plug the charger in and let it sit overnight. That should last you a week or so before you have to plug it in again. Thats if you ride everyday.

hey...yah I still have the same battery and haven't had any trouble with it. You know that the bike comes with a charger that you are suposed to plug in like once a week to charge the battery, because the bike does not have an alternater the battery will eventually drain. So if you don't have the charger thats prolly what you need to do.
