Bob Sullivan brought Pandemonium to Green Valley Raceway in Smithfield texas back in the sixties during the AHRA nationals for a exibition run. He smoked the tires the full lenght of the track---it was awsome.
@2004LEBUSA ..... Incredible. I am sitting here on my cmputer and I just decided...."Let me key in "Funny Cars" and see what comes up? The first Funny Car I ever saw was in the mid-60's at Irwindale Raceway in California." Wham! It is the first video on the list! Unreal. And your post reminds me why that day was so memorable! Yes...the driver smoked the tires the entire length of the strip....and it just blew people away. At that time, no one had seen anything like that. Paul, Texas
