No Ryan Brown is the 4th best 800 runner in the nation behind Nick Symmonds Kevin Hawkins and still the 800 man Khadevis Robinson!!!

So what?! When was the last time USA had a world record holder, world champ or olympic champ at 800m?! USA are rubbish!
Seb Coe would kick Ryan Brown's ass all over the track! Coe's former world record of 1.41 is still the 2nd fastest of all time.

Allright I'm a young buck I knew Coe was great but I did some major research last night and realize how great he really was...so your right in his prime Seb would destroy any American 800 runner no contest...It was great learning more about this legendary runner..thanks

No problem, my friend. Coe was a freak. If he hadn't been ill for 2 seasons in the early 80's when he was in his prime years he would probably have got a 1.40 800m

Seb Coe never raced Ryan Brown...obvious. Races are races, not time trials. A 1:41effort by Coe in one race may be a 2nd place effort behind Alan Webb USA.

Who said he ever raced him?! All I said was Seb Coe was a far better runner than Webb. Webb has done NOTHING. Coe won world records, World Champs and Olympics.
Until Webb wins something major then you can say something. Until then, Coe is CLEARLY the better runner and would kick Webb's ass in any major 800m event.
