IMO get some bagpipes. Go to a Glasgow HS (Kentucky) show sometime, they're walk on includes 3 bagpipes every performance.

I hate when people put the emphasis of "Marching band" on Band instead of Marching...It makes it sound so stupid.

wow,im in the colorguard with scotland high school.
and we also play scotland the brave and do the fling.
but we dont use flags we do the dance. and our band hugee.
but good work.

As a 1998 graduate of SHS, I must say that this brings back a lot of memories - some good and some bad. The band is much smaller than it was when I was in band, but being a band director now a lot of bands are getting smaller. Kudos to you guys.
