This game could've gone either way. Both teams had chances, though I think the Swiss actually had the more dangerous chances. I will also admit, however, that France should probably have received a PK for the Swiss handball in the area, though I can also see how the Swiss might argue that it was incidental and not intentional.

I'm not surprised that France failed to score. They've been primarily a defensive team for some time now.

Switzerland vs. Ukraine was a disgrace for a World Cup match. Neither team could complete 3 consecutive passes, I wish there was a way both could have been knocked out of the 2nd round because neither deserved to be quarterfinalists.
