  • Great job, and taste. What fun!

  • Brillaint stuff. I love O Lucky Man and if.... and Alan Price always was the real talent in the Animals. This soundtrack is one of my favorites, and I love your cover of this song. You've a beautiful voice, and it was a treat to hear.

  • love it:-)

  • thanks for this one babe

  • vc. é uma gracinha, lindinha.

  • I give you a B... not great... but good.

  • I love this. How rare it is to find an Alan Price cover such as this.

  • O wonderful!!! Love the Who T-shirt!!!

  • Fabulous playing, fabulous singing and obviously, fabulous taste! Thanks for posting this.

  • Fabulous playing, fabulous singing and obviously, fabulous taste! Thanks for posting this.

  • you are very talented. Can you play o lucky man ? I tried it on guitar I think its in A or G ? Malc is my fave actor too if-clockwork. you have good taste.

  • I love this song. I remember watching the movie for the first time, the music didn't really hit me right at first. But later on it grew on me! Most people aren't familiar with the film, it's kind of niche in a weird way.

Is there any chance you could do the song "O Lucky Man" or "Poor People"?

    Thanks :D

  • Молодец девочка!

  • You're a doll!

    Very nice voice

  • Groovy!!!

  • Aaaahhh ruthy ruthy .. i love how happy you look when you sing it's always a pleasur to listen to your pretty voice and see you sweet face ^^

    miss you xx

  • Great taste in music, films and actors! I'm from the same town as Alan Price so it always makes me smile. My dad even went drinking with him once and reckons he was a right cheapskate - refusing to buy a pint all night, hehe.

I also met Malcolm once, and he's still very charming :) xoxo

  • How cute.

  • I was talking about ukuleles with a friend the other night & he told me to check out this video. I'm glad he did - you're just as beautiful & talented as he said! I like your taste in music also.

  • Very nice. A truly great song. I think you sang it just a tad too fast - but well done. Great movie and in some versions it's omitted. You're also very pretty

  • ps: love the quadrophenia shirt

  • @aracpeter Haha thanks, bought it when i went to see the stage show of quadrophenia. It was fantastic! Easily as good as the film.

  • That's why I miss leaving in England.

Just noticed that my first comment, where that PS came from didn't go through. I don't remember what it was but it was something saying how beautiful this version came out.

  • Aww that's very sweet of you (:

  • Perfect pitch as well.

  • Haha i don't know about that!

  • This is delightful, thanks for sharing with us. This is a magnificent film and it's nice to see more people embracing it.

  • Haha well my dad really knows his films (: Thanks a lot (:

  • So sweet and nicely done - brings a smile. One of my favorite albums / movies too. Greetings from California.

  • Hello there, thanks a lot (:

    Greetings from England!

  • Could you post the chords? Thanks!

  • Out of the blue, I had a hankering to listen to the theme song of "O Lucky Man" (where is it? -- it used to be on You Tube), and I found your rendition of one of my favorites posted only a week ago. The film, from nearly 40 years ago, is one of my all-time favorites and the soundtrack is beyond description. You do a wonderful, wonderful job!

    Thank you!

  • Thank you so much, that's very kind (:

  • NICE!!! <3

    i love this one =]

hehe really good although the sheep bit of that film xp lol

xxx awesome your voice is awesome as always xxx

  • Thanksss hazeee (:

    xxx

  • This just made me smile...with pleasure. O Lucky Man is the second of Lindsay Anderson's trilogy of films. The original soundtrack is by Alan Price, and he and the band are intercut within the film but there are only a few snippets on Youtube. This is a worthy substitute - though I know that there are those who have something to say about Mr Price and his time with The Animals.

  • Ha, thanks, it's nice to know that there are a lot of fans of his music on youtube like myself. Thank you for your support (:

  • I added your clip to my Facebook...there are a number of musicians on it so I'll be interested in their reaction. We're also in to finding obscure British films on youtube - though Oh Lucky Man is hardly obscure.

  • that was well gd :) shot with the new(ish) camera? xox

  • @amywhu indeeeedd, thankkss amy (:

  • AWESOME!

  • glad you liked it (:

  • @Ruthisacrumpet

    You are The Crumpeteer!

  • Ahaha, that i am (:

  • Some of your favorite bands are also mine, The Kinks especially. The Who I have a jail photo of John Entwhistle which I had him sign before he died. Thrown in jail here in Houston, Texas for being drunk in 1974. You left one great band off though, The Bonzo Dog Dand. One of my favorites for 3 decades. Take care.

  • You did a fine job....great movie. If, O Lucky Man, and the finale Oh Britania.

  • Indeed, all great movies, thanks a lot (:
