  • what kinda of brush is that?

  • @SexyBoyLarson Raphael Kolinski #0. A sable hair brush.

  • what kind of ink are you using?

  • @dramageekmw For this I'm using Pelican Ink and a brush.

  • you are awesome

  • @gaabyythaa Video editing alway improves one's self. ;P Thanks. ^^

  • @gaabyythaa Thanks!! :)

  • ..is that ur logo on the top left of her or just some random design? cool drawing tho :)

  • @tekmasta8 Thanks! And yes, thats my logo. Under my profile pic on my main channel, you can see the orientation I first designed it as (scorpion), then I rotated it and thus it becomes a winking smiley face.

  • ur awsome wut pen and markers r u using

  • @bluedragon6287 Thanks and I'm using an ink brush (brush dipped in ink) and Copic markers.

  • Cool costume on X-23! But why is she wearing Wanda's outfut?

  • Thanks, but I didn't design it. I referenced it from one of the books she wore it in. It's just some civilian clothes she was wearing...NOT anything to do with Wanda. I appreciate the comment! XD

  • Sweet x-23.

  • Thanks for checking her out! XD

  • Awesome!!

  • Thanks!

  • Awesome video of sketch card as always. 5/5 Quick question, how you learn draw and ink hair so well, got any tip for hair?

  • Thanks! Filling in black is hard for me...I wing it. I'm used to NOT using black/ink fills in the art.

But otherwise in regards to linework/inking, I guess the easiest thing to remember (that I can come up with to help) try not to have any two lines parallel (in measurement) (or same thickness on both sides of 'object') for too long of a length, if at all. That can be thought of with all the organic/curved shapes.

    My opinion of course. ^^;

That tends to flatten out the object/image.

  • Thank you very much! You rocks!

  • You're welcome! But I forgot to mention about the parallel comment...it doesn't always apply to objects that are naturally the same thickness through it's length...like straight edged (certain perspective POVs) and say for example (sometimes)...rope. ;P So angle and perspective can play a part.

These aren't rules just tid bit tips to consider, but may not always apply. It's mostly an aesthetic thing...not accuracy of visual perception.

  • Gotcha, thanks.

  • Loving the new stop motion stuff =)

  • YAY! I was hoping to get a bit more feedback on that...letting me know if I should continue that approach. Thanks! XD

  • Pushing the envelope! I love it!

  • XD Doing what I can with what I have...it can force one to get creative with limited resources. ^^; Thanks again!

  • i want that yellow one lol

  • I got it with the box set. It's from the anime "Ninja Nonsense: The Legend of Shinobu". A very funny (to me) anime about...well, ninja nonsense with a good dose of perversion. ;P

Main character is a ninja girl in training...who's a bit weird/ditsy named Shinobu.

12 episodes.."series of disjointed comedic plot lines." Check it out in Wikipedia..since there's no 'plot', there's no real spoilers. ;)
