Hey I'm planning to buy this exact one from ebay and just wondering how you installed it because they said you need a distribution box? And also is the backlight always on even though your headlights are not? Thanks!
you don't REALLY need the box, but it does make life easier. it's essentially just a power distribution box, which also acts as a signal relay. pretty much you just plug in everything to this one box and it works. it's not bad because it actually increases the length of wires that you have to play with. and yeah the backlight is always on, it turns down when you turn the lights on so as not to distract.
