  • Why is it on the floor? stick on your desk show it off! bravo sir

  • @fishcommander100 Even with a huge desk like mine, the 600D does not fit easily :)

    (P.S. I'm not a bloke) x

  • pretty sweet music

  • @OranenarO Thanks :)

  • do you think you can fit a dual 140 in the top and a single 120 in the back? and what is the thickness of the top rad?

  • Wow, this would be the first I've heard of a woman who built her own water cooled setup and a pc.

  • @TheSimsCreedGuy hehe, I've been building and assembling my own computers since the 80's :)

  • would the 650D ft an Asus Maximus IV Extreme E-ATX board ? the board measures 12" x 10.6"

  • @lSKABZl It should do, but I don't have one to test.

  • I was just wondering, is that 240mm rad really enough two cool a CPU and two 6970's? The 6970's are some pretty warm cards and I've always been told that a 240mm rad is not enough for a CPU and GPU setup. What kinda temps are you getting?

  • @KapteinFruit It is, but you'll need to wind the fans up for gaming; I've actually added an additional fan and pump circuit.

  • quick question, could you fit a 240mm rad on the top as well as a 120mm rad on the rear, nice build btw

  • @D34N6232 Yes I think so, I would have to double check the size of the rear fan though.

  • very nice but what kind of fittings you use? the one connect 2 video cards and the ones connect the cards to tubes

  • Phew, I was about to flip a shit when I saw all those high quality parts then a stock intel heat sink. Amazing build by the way! I BE JELLY

  • @MrMysteriousMoose Thank you for the feedback.

I leave the rig running for a few days under high load with the stock heatsinks to make sure it all works properly.

I find it a good idea to thoroughly test components before I take them apart and void the warranty :)

  • @DanielleHallett if the motherboard mosfets and heatsinks did not start until the top of the ran modules, do you think you could put the fans on the inside?

  • @udontseemebutiseeyou They would have fitted now, I just like them on the outside :)

  • nice rig

  • A tip for uploading high detailed pictures to youtube: If it is possible, you should upload in video quality on ORIGINAL. its the same resulution as most high detailed cameras.

  • @longmage4 Cheers, but I actually added the videos into Avid Studio and created the video on my desktop then uploaded the finished video file.

Video editing using YouTube's web tools makes Baby Elvis cry...

  • *CPU/GPU Blocks appear* *music slows down*. Epic.

  • @turtlehater2 Thanks :)

  • @DanielleHallett VNice! Hey I'm just about to start my first watercooling loop on my current rig I could really use some advice because it seems like you know what your doing! Basically I need to know if these components are compatible with each other and the 650D.

FrozenQ Liquid Fusion V Series 150mm Reservoir

Hardware Labs Black Ice® GT Stealth Lite 240mm Dual Radiator

    EK FC6970 Full Cover Waterblock

    EK Supreme LTX CPU Waterblock

    Alphacool VPP655-T12 Pump.

Great if you could help! :)

  • Newegg tiger direct microcenter

  • one 240mm rad is enough for cpu and two gpus? or am i missing something?

  • @Jonislol Well, under "normal" use the single rad is absolutely fine, but once it's running 3D games then you have to turn the fans up and it becomes as noisy as atmospheric cooling.

After I posted this, I added a second front mounted radiator which allows it to remain silent even under full load.

  • @DanielleHallett man i reaaally like this case but i just dont know about room for rads. if the 800d had the front that this has i would prob go with that :S idk what to do eheh

  • @Jonislol I have two rads in there, but it's a little cosier than I would like. It's relatively compact, and would be fine if you never change anything but if you want to make more alterations the lack of space is a pain in the backside.

For my next build in a few weeks, I'm going back to a full tower case :)

  • @DanielleHallett cool mate. have fun. put a video up yea ;P

  • Badass

  • @0909bram36 Yarr :)

  • @DanielleHallett I wish I had enough money for a epic PC like this one. I'm new to PC and starting to build one after Christmas. Any suggestions on where to buy parts?

  • @0909bram36 ebay

  • Badase

  • tempeture on full load?

  • @lars38010 Under max load it peaks at ~45 degrees.

  • I'm looking forward I want to see I also use my 650D with Water Cooling

  • That's a beautiful machine But I lack the cooling

  • @xlazux777 Thank you x

I've taken some new photos since modifying it a little, I'll be posting them on my website soon :)

  • So you wouldnt recommend the 650D for a watercooling build Danielle?

I'm planning on watercooling a i7 2500k & 2 gtx 570s HD (2560mb) in SLi...I love the look of the 650D and am intrigued with the thought of being able to watercool it without modding the case. Could you send me a pick of the front rad perhaps? was it just a case of removing the HDD bays + front mounted 200ml fan?

Thanks! and kudos on your sick build :)

  • @jimmyakakev Thank you x

I *really* like the 650D, and it makes a really neat finished product, it's just a little more cramped that I would like and due to it's size it does not leave much room for bleeding air, pump adjustments etc.

As you say, fitting the front rad is little more than moving the HDD cage to the other horizontal position. It makes cable routing a little snug if you're running SSD+HDD+Raid though. I also had to drill some new mounting holes, but it only takes a few minutes.

  • @DanielleHallett Thanks for the response =] have you put more updated pics up anywhere? i.e. on a forum perhaps...would be very interested in seeing how the loop etc looks with the 2nd rad :)

  • @jimmyakakev As I type, the side of the case is open. Taking more photos as I speak which I'll post to my blog later :)

  • @DanielleHallett Thanks a mill! really appreciate it =]

  • I don't understand using 1 circuit for watercooling, wouldn't the water just get hot from the cpu before reaching the rest of the system. It seems redundant.

  • @1john1992 Only if the thermal transfer properties of the coolant were 100% efficient or with a very low flow rate.

As coolant passes through each water block, its molecules each transfer a little bit of heat. The last water block in a circuit like that would indeed be slightly warmer than the others, but it's barely measurable as long as you have a decent flow rate.

  • does any online retailers sells black rubbery tubbing?

like the ones on the antec kuler h20 series

  • @Ruiso7 I have no idea, but all black hoses do sounds quite cool. Something to consider for my next build :)

  • also can you tell me what sli watercooling bridge you have i want one and i dont know what to look for

  • @RoxxPC In this build I used a Phobya Variable SLI/Crossfire VID Connection Nipple....

(just rolls right off the tongue doesn't it) :)

  • do ek products come with thermal compund?

  • @RoxxPC I don't think they do, I used MX4 for this build (spreads easily and ages well).

  • @DanielleHallett dont want to be rude bro but how much did this build cost?

  • @10crypticpwn10 About £2600 with all the bits and bobs :)

  • Are those alphacool pumps loud?... :S

And was it necessary for the 2 pumps or would 1 be fine?

  • @xtredxdudex Relatively speaking, the pumps are quite loud, however as they have variable speed (though the modified fan controller), they are in almost all scenarios completely silent.

Two are not essential, but are nice. I use two for a dual circuit system, one for the CPU and the other for the GPUs.each circuit with it's own radiator, but with a common reservoir.

  • @DanielleHallett Ahh, I see. If I was going to have a loop that included just a CPU and Single GPU would 2 pumps improve the cooling performance?...

  • @xtredxdudex No, not really. Those little pumps are quite powerful. Even with my two radiators and three large water-blocks I could have just used one in a case this size.

  • @DanielleHallett Ok thanks for your help!

  • is it easy to mount the 240mm rad to the case roof

  • @antec12gtx260 Very, the case is pre-drilled to mate-up with pretty much any rad you can get.

  • Did you buy that multi fan speed controller seperate or..?

and also, could you link me the crossfire barb fitting you used please?

(i'm building almost the same system as you haha)

  • @kllrfrk Thanks for commenting :)

The fan controller is a seven year old Zalman ZM-MFC1. I've modified the two switched controllers to handle the power requirements of the the two pumps. It's been in many builds, I love it too much to replace :)

The barbs are all 1/2". I can't post a link to the crossover but Google this "Phobya Variable SLI/Crossfire VID Connection Nipple G1/4" 2 Slot - Black Nickel"

    Hope this helps :)

  • @DanielleHallett thanks =) another question if you mind, why p67 and not z68 for the motherboard?

  • @kllrfrk Good question.

At the time, Z68 boards with the features I wanted were not available. Also, as I was using a large SSD and Lucidlogix’s Virtu software was a shambles I didn't see any point in waiting for boards to be available. I had nothing to gain.

  • how is that PC Ice Hybrid working?

  • @nmarkus666 So far so good, it hasn't destroyed this rig like the Feser did to the last one :)

  • jesus christ now THATS one nice pc u got there

  • @pettystone Thank you very much, these comments make it worth while (and the kick-arse gaming of course) x

  • nice nice nice !!!

  • How did you manage to install two radiators in the case?

I have been thinking of water-cooling my GPU but people have told me I need more than one radiator

    .

At the moment I have a XSPC 240mm rad that has two 120mm fans placed above. Where could I place a 2nd rad? I am assuming the pump I have is fine since it’s integrated in my dual bay res that I have from XSPC.

    Your Rig looks very nice.

  • @MrGrandDragon The case comes with two 200mm housings in the front and
