@Brianna10million I bet the knife-flip was kind of like House's cane-twirl: something they put in the show because the actor could already do it. He really did all those cigarette tricks. Because yes, he is awesome.
The series is called Jekyll, it was aired in 2007 on BBC One I think. I dont know if you can buy it anywhere.. but you can find it on thepiratebay: thepiratebay(dot)org/torrent/4659767/Jekyll_Season_1
nobody denied that hitler was austrian, but that doesn't change anything on the matter of fact that austrians (and that included adolf hitler) speak german - it's there native language.
I think there is no secret behind that word - we also use english phrases, or words from other languages - so I think it's normal, that he do this as well
Wish our class would do something like that as well, Psychosis... I'd LOVE it... no more boring English classes, for me at last... XD But I'm afraid I'd laugh a bit too loudly- they'd send me to the headmaster:S Great scene anyway, one of my favs...
I want him as a new bad guy (human apperance please) on Doctor Who. And reappear in many episodes!

I wonder how many times they had to reshoot it because he dropped the knife when he did the flip thing.

@Brianna10million Apparently, it was a one-shot success.

Nesbitt was PHENOMENAL in Jekyll. If he gets cast as the 12th Doctor after Matt Smith moves on, I will be a very happy Doctor Who fan.

Should we feel flattered or give it some thought that Hyde uses a german word? ;)
And it have nothing to do with our past, german ist just a very rough language and maybe kind of evil sounding for foreigners.
Oh, I think in the german version he says "Fantastique!" ;o)
Great series anyway!

Yes, there is a german version, but in that version he doesn't say any foreingh words.
I think he uses german words because it was the language of Hitler and still sound creepy to many people.
Nordra 3 years ago
Yes there is a german version, but he says german Words in the original to.
