But anyways I don't think F1 drivers buy they own helmets as they as sponsored by the maker. I remember seeing 3 helmets in the pit garages so they have spares lined up in case something happens to them. But drivers are also superstitious and maybe they have 'lucky' helmets... hehe

I felt what nico feel about his helmet, as for me. the helmet i used for the 3 seasons, 1 season on kart, formula junior and f3.. all the same helmet i used too and get its me to the top, needless when its again about 2 races ago... im still on on top form, and now.. i got unlucky collissions for 1 t ime and 2 consecutive mechanicla failure... both running on podium.. not to be mention to be a superstitous man though..
