My opinion for genre is Harsh EBM. But genres are weird and some people would just call it Industrial. But Nine Inch Nails are Industrial, similar? Nope not really. Genre doesn't matter, as long as it sounds good. You can use Last.fm to search for a band you like and find similar ones. Or find out who they tour/have toured with.
Aggrotech?! Black Metal/Metal?! New kind of style? It's pure EBM! new shitty EBM (sorry, I do not like this music, no offense), long live old-school Industrial/EBM like Skinny Puppy, etc!

Psyclon 9 can fairly be called a mix of EBM and Black Metal, as that is how they list themselves online. Aggrotech is generally more industrial based, like Combichrist.

IMO they sound so skid now. Ministry was a big influence on their style but they never sounded all skid no matter how heavy and fast their drummachines and guitars would be....oh well, hope erica dunham doesnt regret her P9 tatt *giggles*....or change Unter Null into something shit.

BLAME THE FANS! Most people take it too far and ruin the image of the music genre, and those (like you and me) kinda get afraid to say we like Psyclon Nine, because some people will think of us like those stuck up industrial kids who don't accept any other kinds of music in their lifes! Same with other genres (Metal Heads,Hippies,Goth Rockers) Music is music, nothing more...just love it for what it is :)

Psyclon 9 can fairly be called a mix of EBM and Black Metal, as that is how they list themselves online. Aggrotech is generally more industrial based, like Combichrist.
