Recipe: 2 c cocoa powder, 2 c coconut oil, 16 packets or 29 mini scoops stevia, 5 second squirt of agave syrup, (optional dash cinnamon) Enjoy! Great P3 treat!
Recipe: 2 c cocoa powder, 2 c coconut oil, 16 packets or 29 mini scoops stevia (my favorite is the NUStevia brand), 5 second squirt of agave syrup, (optional dash cinnamon or cayenne pepper which is an appetite supressant) Enjoy! Great P3 treat!
You are a Goddess!! This just couldn't get any better...except maybe with your suggestion of macs and dried cranberries. Looking forward to trying them shortly on phase 3.
CD can be added occasionally for some people. I suggest try eating 1 piece in a day and see what your weight does. You don't need to subtract the calories.
I melt the coconut oil by putting the container in a pan of water on the stove. Then I pour it into the bowl with the cocoa powder and stevia and whisk it. Pour it into a baking dish and stick it in the freezer. Once hard, I take a butter knife and break it into pieces. Not as pretty as Shannonblogs but yummy. Sometimes I add some cinnamon or cayenne. Check out Shannonblogs CD recipes. They are great. Also some cocoa powder is darker than others. I like a darker variety.
It's too good isn't it. During phase 4 I added pecans and dried cranberries. I have been using 12 packets stevia + agave syrup with the 2c coco oil and 2c cocoa.
OMG!!! yours is so YUMMY(and i am not a BIG chocolate lover)....i made it yesterday....it is deadly GOOD ..i think...thanks for sharin =) i hope i dont have any issues with it...i will see
Glad you like it. I have been mixing it with organic, shredded, unsweetened coconut during phase 3. Sometimes adding mac nuts or almonds. I ate too many almonds though and had to have a steak day. I do better with macadamias.
The best thing to do is go to Delmem's video of his chocolate delight. That is where it all started. Many have found his recipe (which does not include agave) raised their ketosis levels which increased weight loss. Research and decide for your self if you want to try it ;)
Hi Autumn. Please feel free to improve any recipes at will - I'm not a kitchen afficinado by any means, just trying to get people to think a little outside the box, see where they can healthy it up. (though I really do like my faux graham cracker crust, great for low carb pies, as a crunchy topping for sugar free ice cream, etc)
This week - experimenting with flatbread, so watch out ! I'll see if I can keep ya busy with tweaks.
Keep 'em coming... I have not made a new batch of CD because it was so good. Too easy to over indulge. I'm adding cocoa to my coffee now so I get the benefit of that and taking fish oil. Easier to limit that consumption. November 3rd, P3 is coming and with it a new batch of chocolate delight and a Delmem cheesecake! I wonder if you could use the CD as chocolate chips?... Bet ya could.
Love that chocolate delight! Coconut oil kicked me over my first stall so I ventured into your recipe and I think it is my new friend. Have to be careful to only eat a little bit though. It is toooooo good! Had another good loss one day with it. So I know it's ok for me.

Do you subtract the calories from your 500? Or just do your regular meals with these on top?

what is the difference from blue agave and agave syrup? I found light agave syrup. but I could not find blue agave.
5boyzmom 2 years ago
The cactus that the syrup comes from is called Blue Agave. It's the same plant that tequila comes from.

Thank you for the updated recipe... it sounds delicious and I cannot wait for P3 to try it! Yum.

Thank you for doing this video!! I made the original version and I don't think they taste that good. They are really harsh. Cant wait to try this.

I just made your chocolate delight. It is wonderful. I used the dark chocolate powder . im addicted.
5boyzmom 2 years ago
Be careful... It is so good that I can easily eat too much of it. Phase 3 & 4 will be chocolate delightful!

Nice to hear from you! Congrats on your accomplishments :D
It's a woman's right to be obsessed over chocolate and if you have found a good recipe that won't gain us 10 lbs per choc dose then all the better :D
You Go!!! :D

I know u will be at that 135# and stay there! Isn't it wonderful to KNOW you are in control?
I'm not much interested in chocolate, but glad to see u have new ideas on DELMEM'S recipe as I know so many people are choco-holics.
