Depending on how hot of an area that car is in that hood scoop will make the car overheat with a fmic on it. I have an 03 as well and I had to pull my hood scoop off because of the head.

@Thappreluck07 How did the stock 2.0 hold up to that power? I am curious because my friend wants to know what the max whp you should make is and I always knew it to be around 320whp was the recommended limit. I have an 03 WRX but my 2.0 has forged internals with head and cam work lol so mine isn't a good bench mark for him lol.

@getalife04 my wrx has a 6spd 06' sti tranny and the car has 90,146 miles. these stuff are just bolt ons!! with a BLOUCH 20G-XT turbine housing 10cm2 new from BLOUCH! so yeah pretty big turbo!! all the stuff i use are all HKS! nothing special! really nothing special!!

and i think the max for a wrx with a 5spd is 320hp(me and my friends think so)? but you can use a VF39 turbo from a 04' sti. i use to have this setup before this and i made 310whp 290trq :) with a 5spd

@Thappreluck07 sure you may have had 310 but what are you talking about max 320? be more clear on what your talking about when you say max EJ series flat-4 Boxer engine from the RB5 models 02-03 wrx are one of the best engines ever made, same with the focus engines some have duratechs which can stand massive ammounts of boost and hp without worrying about the heads,

@Thappreluck07 The Duratec is a range of four, five, and six-cylinder gasoline engines produced by the Ford Motor Company, used in Ford, Volvo, Caterham, Morgan, Tiger, Ginetta cars and by specialist engine tuner Cosworth, i drive a blue RB5, making around 380whp with short throw stock turbo for now,cold air 4 inch custom magnaflow catback and getting a easystreet stage 2 and some other stuff doin trick shit looking to be making around 450 500 at wheels and a cobb track setup but itl be awhile
