  • Awesome! Great tutorial!

  • how ... when i push backspace .. i jump to the new unit . but not to the hatches

  • @Christian4569 u should check out hotkeys in main menu. Then general ---> Camera ---> to the main structure. There must be backspace or whatever u want.

  • @Christian4569 maybe you got grid?

  • Good video, thank you.

  • How do I change to spacebar

  • 2:30 for the technique nothing else

  • To make this 100x more efficient i recommend changing the it from the backspace to the spacebar. I never find myself using the spacebar to go to the last thing that was researched. So it is a good button to switch.

  • Backspace selects hatcheries, and Shift locks the last action... 4 minutes to say that?

  • OMG it's jesus!

  • i subbed

  • Better way, hotkey all of your queens onto one control group and then just hit inject larva then hit the general area that your hatches are on the minimap, game AI auto-picks the closest queen to that hatch and makes them inject that hatch.

  • God you took forever to get to the god damn point....

  • @kiru888 Its a five minute video you ADD fuck.

  • Thanks alot!! definitly helped me out alot! :)

  • if you right click somewhere hit h and the queens will all stop moving

  • Just rebind backspace to TAB. Problem solved. Hi fastest injects!

  • @Hansjee1 used my side mouse button for backspace works better imo

  • @mindmaster54 Yeah but most people dont have a side button on the mouse.

  • dis a informative video wit sum useful tips but da main concern dat i wana know is wut is dis mans credentials?? cuz they call me da champ.

  • @teenw0lf1971 rofll

  • I think my method for larvae injection is a bit more effecient and easier, ust use the mini map while u have the ability ready when you scroll over a hatchery your targeting icon turns green.

  • superb coaching, playin zerg for this season, mucho gratz

  • i cant reach backspace when holding shift

  • @traxgod2 hey i recommend getting a mouse with 2 side buttons and remapone button to number 0 and the other button to backspace....that way you just press shift, and then both the side buttons...It makes it really easy and fast to do....I use it and its really helped me out

  • @boteroblink yeh ty

  • ima top 8 silver player, if anyone wants to practice with me or play 2v2's 1v1's whatever add me ( Sylvos 685 ) im sumwhat on

if you need any help leave me a message and ill get back to you later ^_^

Oh and if you got Skype look for Skype name ( WolfLord3k )

  • I think this alone'll take me from Silver to Gold. Much obliged.

  • just change backspace to tilda key and its e-z-er

  • idra hot keys queens

    Just saying

  • @kurdth1 so do i.

  • ya ça aussi

Tutorial Fast Larves Injection Multi-Hatch in 1 sec

  • ya ça aussi

Tutorial Fast Larves Injection Multi-Hatch in 1 sec

  • you can just click on the minimap. this is what i do and is a lot faster

  • You have to take your hand off of your mouse to hit the backspace button - correct? It would be nice to see that in the video - physically hitting the backspace and clicking.

  • @Wunji1 he used his left hand to hit the backspace and kept his right hand on the mouse

  • do this if you have to much minerals... meh like minerals!!!...AND... u have 4k minerals sir

  • @lunajamba You can do this with 50 minerals or 10000 minerals. This is dependent on the energy of the queen, not the amount of minerals you have.

  • OMG WHAT'S THE SONG OF THE INTRO MUSIC OMG OMGOMGOMG please tell me!? If you made that by yourself you got some sick flow going on!!!!

  • school me noobschool!

  • another good tip is to remap that backspace button to something on your left hand (assuming you are a righty). i mapped my base toggle key to spacebar. so i just hit v, shift click, space, click, space, click... etc.

  • @Graves539 a very good idea! thanks!

  • clicking the minimap is not as fast as this way but each to there own, i like this route ty

  • I personally think easiest way is to put queens to one hotkey and then click all hatcheries in the minimap. It is quite easy, because you dont even have to be very precise.

  • Wait so you press v, then hold shift, then let go of v, before backspace click etc.

  • get to the poiiint man fuck

  • Thx man ur awesome!!

  • how can u click, shitf and backspace =S dont understand

  • @rayman2704 u know u have 2 shifts on your keyboard right? one below "enter" ? : >

  • @BeliaNc yes i know, but it was difficult to me, anyway i've been practicing and i finally got the technique. thank you so much.

  • WOW This is the most helpful thing I have stumbled across. Thanks man what a great video.

  • clicking back space is to hard is there any other key easier

  • @XIronApeX You can simply change the hotkeyes mate, i have it on tab! i click it with my pinkiefinger :)

  • Sir the name song please :)

  • I think the best way (I'm not sure) is to hotkey your all hatcheries to one hotkey (My situation-5) And all queens to other (My situation-6). Then when you need to larva inject, just press 6, Hold shift and press V and use the click on the hatcheries using the mini map

  • @renamorcen thats good if u dont wanna move ur eye off the point of interest, but slower than v-shift-backspace

  • If you didn't know you CAN remap your backspace to an easier button.

  • @RanEncounter not when this was made idiot

  • ok for some reason this isn't working for me. When i hold shift backspace doesn't switch to the next hatchery anymore for me. what am i doing wrong?

  • @deathtaker100

imo that is not nearly as fast or consistent

  • Ok guys hotkeying all your queens is very effective however, you can hit V and then just click your hatches on the minimap to spawn larva....its that easy boyz

  • @deathtaker100 but not fast enough

  • Comment removed

  • has anyone considered using tab as a replacement for backspace?

  • @FishTurd69 I use caps lock.

  • @FishTurd69 I use spacebar as base camera and backspace as last alert, keys are extremely close.

    4(queen hotkey), space, v, click - space, v, click - space, v, click - space, v, click

The only problem you can get from using this method (really only affects lower level players) is when you inject a hatchery that does not have its own queen. You may end up walking a random queen to its death. When you get better, you'll catch the queen.

  • rebind "backspace" to "q" and queen to "e"

  • @TickyTok i have a question, when i try to change my hotkeys in the hotkey menu it gives u the choices of terran, toss, zerg and global but nothing on changing the backspace to "q" or whatever. can u help?

  • @FavourniteXD117 it's in global and unless you play other races i see no problem with doing this. And yeah tab could work as well.

  • you should prob rebind backspace to something else i use a mouse button alot of people use space bar

  • i use this , i highly recommend it

if u missclick and walk with all the queens, u can always click stop button asap :)

  • howlly shit ima doing this now !

  • Try rebinding backspace to W, so you press 33 (my queen hotkeys) V then hold shift, W click, W click untill all hatches are done, then double tap 1 (my army) without the awkwards hand movment

  • eeeeh i can rebind it from backspace right? cus backspace is on the other freaking end of the keyboard

  • fail, the easy way is to use the minimap

  • uhh im a noob but how do you get all 4 queens into 1 hotkey?

  • @TheOnlyDmac19 hold ctrl and left click on the next unit it'll add it to your current group then just set them as hotkey at the end

  • Comment removed

  • YOU NOOB

  • Don't do any other injection method. This is by far the fastest and best method. If you're a casual player and not a pro you can remap the backspace key to the tilde (`) key so it makes it so much easier since you don't have to press backspace on the other side of the keyboard

  • @pardingo no it's not, you just click on the minimap

  • u can also do this method with terrran mules that is if u want to spread ur mules out across ur bases so that u dont mine out as fast

  • Faster way: Put all your queens in one control. Then V and click on each part of the minimap where u have a hatchery, that way, the closest queen will go and inject larva, assuming you have 3 hatchs and 3 queens, while in battle you just select the queens V click V click V click and you go on with your battle, NEVER EVER EVER take your sight out of the battle

  • Try re binding Backspace to something like Shift+C

  • @legendlazy or maybe space?

  • @Me0wM1xx Yeah sure! Anything that puts it in an easy to hit location

  • why right shift key?

  • @iceymanjack easier

  • @iceymanjack Because you're hitting backspace while holding shift. Can you do that with 1 hand using left shift?

  • I think injecting larvas with the minimap is much more useful because you can also follow the Battle And neednt to change your Camera position .. Example ZvZ you have mass zerglings And your Enemy controls also banelings And he Attacks with His banelings While you inject =- you Army is Dead .. If you inject with the minimap you see: fuck banelings you go fast ob you Army Hotkey And Run Away with your Strategy you Even don't know that there are Coming banelings

  • @Darkbribe09 The only issue I can see using the minimap is you have to move the mouse around more. by going to each of your hatcheries you can just keep your mouse about in the middle of the screen, but if it works for you then go for it!

  • whats the name of the intro song?

  • I don't get how u can click 0 at the same time clicking v right after..

  • u can rebind backspace to mouse button 3-5 or capslock for example

  • i just use the mini map and hot key all my queens

  • I rebound inject to r, and select base to tab. All of my queens are on my 4 hotkey, so all I have to do is hit 4-tab-r-click-tab-r-click-tab-r-click.

  • TLO USES THE MINIMAP TO INJECT LARVAE O.O

thanks for these vids man. so helpful

  • It sucks that queens even exist, its a bunch of extra clicks for no reason. same thing with the chrono boost and those faster suv's.... blizzard shoulda coulda left that extra clicky shit out.

  • how the fuck are you gonna reach backspace when shift is held down to press V

  • LOL, that backspace holding down and shifting is much slower. Pressing 1, v click on hatchery is a little faster. Your technique is slow in my eyes.

  • Better technique: Put all queens on 1 contrl group. The queens must be next each hatch you want to inject larvae into. Select the contrl group, hit V or X, and select a hatchery on the minimap. The cursor will turn green when hover over a hatch. You can inject all hatches in about 2 secs

  • I love you!

  • Love this trick! could you explain the other way of Spawn larve using the minimap. plz

  • If you're getting bored of the "backspace" technique, you can just remap the backspace key to something more feasible for you (and your particular keyboard). There's a lot of free software allowing that, so perhaps you can speed up your larva injection even further.

For example, I've remapped my left backslash (near left shift) to backspace, so that it's easy for me to cope with the task single-handedly. Anyway I haven't ever used that backslash...

  • Noob School = my salvation from pwnage.

  • thx

  • I actually find it easiest to put all four queens on 1 hotkey... and you can just use v for spawn larva and click at the hatchery on the mini map. Just found out you can do this yesterday, but it is great!

  • @Andyandhisboard I agree.

  • Great trick! Thanks!

But one question: what's the name of that song at the beginning?^^

  • I have a bunch of awesome replays to post, dont know how, anyhelp would be awesome

  • Dude, you have awesome taste in music, what's that intro song? If its some stock music clip I'm gonna cry

  • The problem with using the minimap technique is that the queens can get accidentally shifted around to different hatcheries which can mess up your macro REALLY bad. You need visual confirmation that the queen next to the hatch is actually the one doing the spawning. If a queen is low on energy, for example, using the minimap technique will pull off a queen from another hatch.

  • @limbo696 thats never happened to me before, in starcraft 2 when you cast a group spell the unit closest to the target will perform that spell

  • @cybnetsurfe3011 I'm surprised this has not happened to you because a distant queen will spawn the larva if the closest queen does not have sufficient energy to do the spawning. Here is a quick video demonstrating:

  • Comment removed

  • @limbo696 oh well i keep 3 queens at a hatch, awesome units

  • hey man, you can select your queens, shift-v and then shift-click on the minimap on all your hatcheries. it's really fast. good job on the videos, i wish you released them more often.

  • cool trick, i lol'ed at the pushing with nose.

  • thank you soooo much

  • I have a mouse with programable buttons. I use my thumb button (side of the mouse) as backspace. I can then hit v and hold shift with 1 hand, and then hit backspace with the other hand, all while spamming click in the middle of the screen.

  • I have backspace mapped to a side mouse button. Works great for hatchey cycling.

  • its spelled teqnichue you bastard

  • u should have caveats for this method:

if a queen is low on energy, then a far away queen will start wakling over, which is bad.

if u have less queens than hatches, theres a chance a queen will start walking as well.

  • i cant hit v shift and back space using one hand, maybe if blizz give the opions of change keys.

  • @AnselmoLB

You can edit an mpq file to change keys, but that probably violates the eula and they just announced that they're gonna start cracking down on violations. Activision Blizzard makes me disappoint.

  • Eh, mini map clicking is faster and easier.

  • AWESOME! I love it!

  • Why couldent they just have implemented a auto-spawn larvae for the queen? Like the terrans auto-fix.

  • hmm not a bad way of doing it but i think psystarcraft's way is still the best. Once you get the keystrokes down it isn't really any faster and you don't have the issue of all your queens accidentally running away. You can also hotkey your queen with your army if you are defending against reapers or w/e and it will still take you back to the hatch and your queen will run there. You also get the benefit of being able to jump around between your bases exceptionally fast and respond to harass.

  • @AresHeroSC i completely agree. like to do all hatches on one hotkey, and then each individual hatch by itself with its own queen

  • Why holding down shift? i try it without and it works , i assume A.I is set that queen nearest to the clicked hatch is goin to inject it. Anyway , handy tip , makes you macro much better (esp. vs. Protoss in desert oasis)

  • @winterhear I think without holding shift you'd need to keep hitting V to spawn the larvae, right? Holding shift is a little easier usually

  • i prefer hitting it with the nose :D:D

like the little texts (if u forgot something) in your video ;)

  • This was amazing, thank you so much for sharing! :)

  • i use mini map put all your queens in one hot key click the hotkey for your queens hit v then hold shift while clicking all your hatcherys on mini map

  • OMG I LOVE YOU, THNX FOR THE TIP

  • Very interesting method! I didn't know that backspace did that function. I'm gonna practice this tomorrow and get ouf of the minimap method!

  • Clicking the mini map is actually one of the slowest methods, but easiest. if you're on big map, the hatchery can be small on the mini map and take a full second to accurately click it. I either hotkey my queen to my hatchery group and press the tab button to cycle, or just hotkey my hatcheries and double tap it so i can just click my queens fast.

  • This method seems annoying, I use the mini map with shift click. You don't have to change the camera and the cursor doesn't change color if there are already larva hatching. This is great if you aren't used to the timing.

  • i rpefer the minimap its what i ve been using since beta

  • Who is the best sc2 player currently?

  • Comment removed

  • k I'm confused by some of the comments. Give me quick definitive answers:

1.) Is using this shift + click technique banned in tournaments?

2.) Is my Razor Copperhead banned in tournaments?

3.) Which is better, this shift click technique, or the mini-map click? I would think the mini-map technique is actually WORSE because the A.I. probably can't distinguish what Queen you're asking to inject larvae with, so a queen on hatchery 3 may move to spawn larvae on hatchery 1 and so forth.

  • @RelVleDy

    Your last point is wrong...

The A.I. notices which queen stands near to the heach,

so you only have to put them into position and everything

works. it´s harder to click, if you have a lot of units or buildings

    near to the hatch...

    =)#

  • @WyldStallynz08 I applaud Blizzard then, because if it was SC1 you know they'd f00k that up :).

  • this is really really useful.. lol

  • hey errbody, yesterday i was playin with my friends, i was playin toss and all of a sudden i had 2 new units - dark zealots, and scouts. i dont know about any other races, but dark zealots are basicly fast moving zealots that can use blink without training, a you need dark shrine to make them. scouts are air units that cost somewhere between a phoenix and a void ray, that can be created without a fleet beacon. they can attack air and ground... spread the word :p

  • @suijen2 care to explain how you found them?

  • @Rand0mAsian umm, i don't really know, me and 2 friends were in a ffa and someone paused it, and when we unpaused we had new units

  • Hey Trebis, I play protoss, and I do this a faster way with chrono boost. Im pretty sure it will work for zerg too. I hotkey all my nexus, then I chrono boost each nexus by clicking on the map instead of backspacing to each individual nexus. Im sure you can hotkey all your quens and use the larva inject ability on each hatchery by clicking them on the map without actually having to look at the hatchery/base.

  • @AdmiralTiggy i used to do that, but the way that trebis explains is literally 10 times faster :) for zerg that is

  • @AdmiralTiggy Hey Admiral, very true. I've been using this method until I discovered the shift click ability. I have to be honest that clicking the mini map can be very annoying at times as you have to click right into the small area(even smaller on bigger maps) in order for it to work. I find this method better cause you can work it into a habit and can make sure you are also looking at each base as you tab through so you'll see if you're missing guys at gas etc.

  • I stopped doing this because if you put up another hatch but you don't have a queen there yet, it can be really annoying. You end up sending the queen at your natural to your third or something.

  • Any use of one key/click/button press to do multiple actions is banned. Even the official Blizzard peripherals are technically against the TOS/TOU/Whatever Blizzard is calling it these days.

  • hi, first of all, im so excited about this idea, im trying this right nao. but somehow it does not work. hitting backspace does nothing for me. any idea what could be wrong? im playing standard grid

  • i got a worker related question: most professional players almost instantly menage to get 3 workers into a gas building. these workers don't carry minerals. how's that possible? if i want 3 workers that don't carry minerals, i have to click on each of them right after they got rid of their minerals and then move them into the gas building. what's the best technique to do this as fast as possible?

  • @Sinwori just take them as they turn in their minerals!

  • @Sinwori I just make a select box near the Command Center so a couple who are nearby returning minerals get selected only..

  • @Sinwori Select 3 workers from your mineral line, with minerals or not doesn't matter. Rightclick your Assimilator/Refinery/Extractor and hit c afterwards. If they carry a mineral they will first bring it to your mainbuilding and then proceed to collect the gas.

  • @Czokolade that's it! great tip, i knew there is a quicker way :)) thanks a lot man!

  • thank you so much for this video!

this trick is awesome. injecting larva all the time was one of my main problems.

the backspace method works better for me though.

    moar zerg videos pls.

  • holy crap! didnt think of just switching to the right side. I gota try that. Great tip Starnanners

  • I heard about key bind (i think its called) to resent the keys but then I thought if Idra and other great Zerg players can do without it then I can probably go without it too.

  • The technique I use is to hotkey all queens to one group, hi they key, Shift+V then click all the hatches on the minimap. Just been thinking it over and I reckon yours is probably a faster with practise. On the other hand, the method I use currently has the advantage of not being forced to move vision away from a fight.

  • perfect tips!

  • Comment removed

  • @duffath As cool as that is, it is also considered cheating according to Blizzard's policy. You are basically using an advantage from your hardware to do something the other players cannot, which equals cheating. To others, I highly DO NOT recommend using this macro.

  • @SC2NoobSchool Blizzard don't care if people use programmable keys. A lot of the official SC2 peripherals have them. Can you point me to the section of the EULA which forbids macro keys?

  • @Macaque909 Apparently I was mistaken, and macros are only banned in tournaments (as they should be.) That said, I'm still very against using keyboard macros, as it is clearly an unfair advantage imo.

  • @SC2NoobSchool

in tournaments, can you bind mouse key to a key, not saying to macro, only binds?

I saw at best buy 100$ keyboards made for sc2 and approved by blizzard sticker on it.

  • @SC2NoobSchool

I dont like this choise of queen managing...what if u can't manage to get one queen at each base, what if one of your queens die? what if u want to put up a macro hatch? all of these things screws up this technique. i say, the hotkey each queen metode or the one where u hotkey all ur queens and inject by just clicking ur hatch on the map, is far superior to the one shown at this video... these techniques doesn't have any weakneses like the one shown here has.
