By this point in the game you learn to trust Achenar more. In the world Achenar was in, he developed a friendly relationship with the local monkeys and actually helped them avoid their predators. Sirrus' world was completely lonely however, nothing but rock, and you can tell by his readings that this loneliness aided his descend into mad revenge.
