I also need to start coloring it soon (starting to get some greys). I don't have any idea what type of coloring I need to use. It is amazing that I have spent so much money in good salons and no one ever explained the basics of hair care to me. I was told I needed protein and moisture but never told about 'balance' or any of that. I have a bad habit of messing with my hair and now I know to keep my hands out of it. I'm so glad I found your vids!! You have helped more than anybody.

I've been looking for a vid about how to do this style. My problem is not my ends but it is broken off up in the hair. I finally realized it may be because I was sleeping without putting my hair in a protective style. I started putting in up at night and that seemed to help. I still have a ways to go before getting it healthy. It is baby fine and breaks so easily. I tried protein, it helped some, moisture, Aphogee products helped alot. I think I need oil but don't know what kind.

I like this style. Im natural and this is definately a protective style for natural hair as well. Whether relaxed or natural the goal is always to protect the ends to retain length.
