I don't really think you understood the song's meaning at all. You call "being creative" taking lines from the song and interpreting them literally? Like the "ring around the roses" part made me cringe a little. the lip-syncing...if you're making a music vid to a song, but not playing the music yourself, your mouth prob. shouldn't be moving. One more thing...maybe to be a lil' more creative you could use CHARACTERS for the story that the song tells, not just dressing up like Brian and Amanda.
I made the video for my Multi media class and just because I used a song by a band dosen't mean I have to coppy them. The Dresden dolls don't even wear mime make up in all their videos. Its not about trying to be like the band. Its about being creative. So I'm sorry if you thing thats horible.
