I also think you're not seeing the forest for the trees. FACT: Railroads, steamships, and airplanes cost a lot of money. It takes a lot of people, industries, resources, and time. So yes, it's going to be expensive for a while, as anything new is, or do you have no understanding of basic economic principles?

And by the way, Virgin's whole point is to make space travel available to all, not just the astronauts. Get educated on the facts first.
