Hi, though I've tried to follow your instructions, the overall process is very complex...do you know of an online site that can edit an 30 minute audio file for a small fee? ...this is very important. Thank you.
that's great and it works but what if you don't have a section of the audio track to select that doesn't have music playing, then how do you go about capturing the sound profile. Does one have to select a section that has only the noise?
Since I switched to Win 7 (64 bit) I use this technique and hear distinct phasing in the result. I'm doing this on a dry vocal with minor room ambiance being removed. Have you experienced this? Any suggestions?
wow thanks alot I had no idea that's how you do it. I was just selecting the entire file and then applying the Noise Removal. I couldn't figure out why it sounded so distorted.
So if you want to remove the audience noise from a gig, could you be using any type of audience noise (or at least one that resembles it a bit) as a profile?
If you reduce the spectral decay rate down to 0%, smoothing lowered, increase the fft size to about 16xxx and remove a portion of the noise completely, the guitar would sound much better.

That's a good and simple explanation. I did it and worked perfect. Thanks! Why not having some info about the version of Adobe Audition used.

It's almost impossible to remove vocals from a track.. In case you do it the final result would be a very distorted audio track..
