Hi I have SE but when I render as an AVI file the dimensions don't save right like my movie isn't showing the whole movie after it saves. Please if you could tell me what I'm doing wrong. Thank you

I'm sorry, I can't help you besides to check your canvas size and projects settings before you render. I haven't used PI in awhile, and haven't had that problem. Sorry =/

How do you change the black backgroud to white or transparent?

In Particle Illusion, you sadly cannot render a transparent background in a video file. You can make the background transparent if you render the video as an image sequence. To change the background color, go to View > Preferences, and by BG Color, there should be a black square. Click it, and you can choose what ever color you want the background to be.

But it's now clear.

After rendering there is a window. At the bottom there is a option to put in the adio from the vid.

Check it and then it's ok.

Try saving it as a .avi file, and use the mpeg-4 codec.

Use the "save movie output" button. In the file type, choose avi. Then choose the codec.

Question:

When i save my avi after putting an effect (by pressing the red button, Save output).

It's fine, ONLY I DON"T have AUDIO.

What do i have to doi to get audio?(converting to avi etc is all good)

Ooh, forgot to put that in.

This is kinda tough. If you have a video editor such as Sony Vegas or Adobe Premiere, you can put in the original video, but out the video (leaving the audio), and put in your rendered clip from Particle Illusion. It should match up perfectly, as Particle Illusion shouldn't have affected the length of the video.

If you are using a simpler video editor, and you can't figure out how to cut out just the video, you'll have to look up a way on the internet.

Is there anyway to fix this problem?

I load my stop motion videos onto particle illusion (the vids 25fps) but it ends up running extremely slow. Is there anyway to make the video run at a normal rate as it would in windows movie maker?

Sorry, there is no way to fix this. Once you render the video, it will be the same length of time as the original video.
