yo steve riley is my manager !!! ,,.facesartistmanagement com I jus found out he was in this group haha.. steve is the one who put the wire of tv. haha. steve is the man!!!! he used to manage biggy from Bad Boy.
@anthony.... I moved from the Bronx with my parents for a few yrs and once moving back I lost touch with a lot of folks...including Lance....but I remember when they hit the scene I was watching soul train and saw him and his cousin James and my mouth dropped...he was the definition of class clown...I had a crush on James....lol
New Edition was good....but challenge any of those singers to a sing-off with the lead and they'd all lose terribly....please don't down anyone especially since many of us are not even close to that level is expertice.....chill.....you obviously lack an ear for talent cause if you knew what real music was you'd be like...New Edition is old news...especially since they are trying to stil be like they were which is still lame...4 by four would've been THEE BEST!
Back in the day it was room for NE, Hi Five, and 4 by Four! You don't get a group dancing and even singing at the same time nowadays! Enjoy the video and the old school flavor! You all know that you danced and sang this to some girl, on the playground or trying to walk her home from school, like Ralph!LOL! Peace to all those that know and all those just tuning in, Soul Train was one of the best shows ever!
These young men represented joy, love, fun, excitement and class. In a time when Hip Hop and r&b made you dance and smile like Heavy D, the Fat Boys and LL. Music acceptance wasn't about the Harsh realities of guns, drugs, sex and gang voilence. If you looked for that in them you missed it. Don't get it twisted, though they were raised in the bronx and queens mean streets in the hood, the were not of the Hood. There's a difference! Some cats are 40 plus and haven't grown up yet! Pity
These fellas ripped those guitar and violin imitations at the beginning of the song. and them moves are N.E./Force M.D.- esque,imo.. and the song i cool.

I believe mommyluvsherboyz or whatever her name is had been ignored by these fellas perhaps she wasn't appealing to them.
