The things Lenny Bruce said were considered satire by some people, but were clearly out of line even by today's standards. Letterman was CLEARLY out of line here, and his apology was "backhanded" at best.

S.E. Cupp is young and on the wrong path. OK lots of money in it for her but partisanerie always fails as a political accessory when true change is what you are after. Don't defend a label: conservative or liberal. Everyone I know is more nuanced than what these clowns portrait. They are caricatures, and in this case, a very attractive one. However I don't get my opinions from cartoons.
