@Rockapebates Kohler specifically mentioned Robot Ninja Haggleman (1) when he said 1985. The game being shown when he said that though, was Haggleman 3, which resembles more of an early 90's NES game. Its the fault of whoever edited this, not Kohler. Haggleman 1 does very much look like a mid-80s release.

anybody knows about that game from the 80s ? There is a guy who has like a helicopter in his back. He flies around putting grenades or b.o.m.b.s around . Destroys that wall and goes to the next one. Anybody?

Exellent idea. But most of the little nooblets todays wouldn't know shit about playing these types of games. They will quit when they realize they don't have unlimited ammo and lives, or just run to the internet to cheat their way through. Little gaming rookies with the attention span of a grasshopper taking a shit. Buy the sequel! The sequel wont be released if XSEED dosent get a SPECIFIC amount of sold cartridges. BTW this game was translated, this game was based off a japanese game show. Arino(challanger) plays retro games and tries to finishes it in GAME CENTER CX.

Personally I rather would have had an AD assistant and guest visits (like the time Arino was visited by THAT PERSON while challenging Star Force for instance...)

The quality of the games in Retro Game Challenge remind me more of Sega Master system. They are a little too high-end for NES games. All the Sega Master system was, was a polished NES with better Sound sampling and Colors, and Processing.

That's funny, if you play it you'll notice Arino-kun's console looks like an almagation of the Nintendo Famicom and Sega SG-1000 Mark III (think of it as the pre-cursor to the Master System).

Otherwise, it's another compelling piece of software published outside of Japan by XSeeD Games.

this game is actually based off a tv show in japan that you do the exact same thing. contestant play these games and have challenges set out.

After hearing how bad Rally King was I wasn't looking forward to playing it at all. This changed after I just finished its challenges. I really liked Rally King and am looking forward to unlocking the second one!
