@20linklover You'll note that most of the endings are mutually exclusive; in this one, Siegfried crystallizes all life on Earth to create "peace", and in Cassandra's, she destroys both Soul Edge and Soul Calibur, to name a couple of examples. The trick is that they're going to pick the ending that changes the status quo the *least* and make that one canon for SCV.

@20linklover The game didn't even come out yet, the information hasn't been released. I'm sure when you get the game, it'll be explained what happened at the end of SC4. Everyone has an ending, but only ONE of them is the real cannon ending. Every character's ending just fulfills their dreams. So I'm sure it'll be revealed at the beginning of SC5 how it really ended.

Hmmm... A very strange bittersweet ending. It's quite similar to the Necrons in WH40k: they want to do something good, they want to end all wars and suffering, but do something very evil to accomplish it (they want to end wars and suffering by killing everything in the universe). They and Siegfried both fight for peace... In a morbid way.
