as an israeli i agree wit the two states salution including east jerusalem except the jewish quater. what bothers me is the one sidedness and disinformation of the program. the fact is that hamas wants a truce so it can arm itself and does not recognize israel its says so in its charter, the palestinians said no t a two state salution in 1947 by the u.n, in the 1948,56,67,73 and 82 war te aras where the agressors, before israel occupied the west bank and gaza it was under egyptian and jordan.

what right does israel have to arm itself with weapons which it uses against palestinian civilians? the palestinians as an occupied people have every right to arm themselves against their occupiers. also why would any peoples agree to have their land partitioned and given to fireign settlers? not one israeli leader recognised a palestinian state under their internationally recognised borders, so why should any palestinian recignise israel? as an israeli u need to wake up to reality.

The facts seem one sided because there are no rationalizations for Israels actions, except bilblical 'arguments' and zionist ideology. Sure, you can find many historical facts that show bad moves on both sides, but really, it is comparing flimsy rockets with white phosphorous spewing from apaches (not to mention the nuclear capabilities). Ambassador Rice called the Goldstone report "unbalanced, one sided and basically unacceptable". The assault on Gaza was all that, the report just reflects it.

@gadidoron1 hamas ? hamas would have no reason to view Israel as an enemy if Israel was not stealing more and more land and oppressing the Palestinian people. Good to hear Finkelstein clearly state that he is NOT for a one state solution, and supports a two state settlement like most reasonable people. First time for me to hear that. Thanks for posting!
