  • its funny how Chaos conquered the planet.

  • Aren't they making rather big deal over a single titan? I could be wrong, but doesn't the golden throne alone have an entire titan legion guarding it? Than again, this is the same universe that gave 2 entire planets as a reward for find out how to make combat knifes :|

  • @Nanook128 the technology to make the larger titans is mostly lost or very difficult to obtain. it's usually quite a priortiy for the Imperium to recapture lost technology

  • he should've narrated dark crusade

  • 0:25 lol anyone notice that imperial guardsmen facing backwards?

  • @thatdudeoverthere456 lol never noticed

  • @thatdudeoverthere456

There is always gonna be that one dumbass :)

  • why wasnt sturn on cronus hes a way better general than alexander???

whos with me on this ????

  • just out of couriosity what did you use to capture the cutscene?

  • @rskalski Fraps.

  • i think that sindri had the best voice

  • best voice....gabriel angelos was most great unit in whole series thx to his voice...everytime when thunder voice sayd "To ME BROTHERS" i was stunned:)

  • omg i found a titan rage rage rage oh crap it's gone know what do i do

  • When they said prepare for the arrival of a unspeakable horror I wouldve never known that it was necrons

  • He talks about stubbs but that is stubbs talking?

  • @GRUBTUBDUB

He is talking about Sturnn, not Stubbs. Stubbs was in the last expansion of Dawn of War, Soulstorm.

  • /understand

  • this is dawn of war 1?

  • No, its it expantion

  • @higaradoom No. Its Winter assault, the expansion of DoW1. You need DoW1 to play this, and the other expansions (which DON'T require DoW1 or Winter assault) are dark crusade and soulstorm.

  • isn't that spaceport from the first Dawn of War game?

  • why would the imperium wont this planet before it had the titan on it i mean

  • chaos took over the planet and the titan was lost during the defense of the planet

  • i said before the titan was on the planet not while

  • i think what he means is that the planet was an imperial city, and what remains now is simply fragments of it, reduced to such by chaos control. it could have possibly been a thriving world when it was under imperial control. thats why they would want it.

  • but its an ice world on the edge of know space i wouldn't wont it why would the imperials chaos would becuase the imperium has obvouse lol

  • lol yeah, well maybe it had some vital resources that were in short supply elsewhere. kinda the same reason the imperium colonizes death worlds and the like. and by the time chaos attempted to take over, said resource may have been close to exhaustion and the costs of defending it may have outweighed the benefits.

  • Considers that harder life conditions make the man living on this planet stronger, as Valhalans. So that's another reason why the imperium could have colonizated it for.

  • Doesn't have to be the imperium that colonized, the colonization might've happened during the Dark Age of Technology ;)

  • well being world eaters, anywhere there is blood and skulls to be taken, theyre there.

  • god i wanna buy this game

  • Isn't Mars the resting place of the Necron Machine God (I forget the name)?

  • Omnissah, the machine god!

  • Ok, thanks.

  • you misguided fool, the Void Dragon is a xeno, if you concort with a Malvolent Xeno Enitity then you are no better than the Choas freaks who like to fuck themselves up the ass with demons and Black magic.

  • they don't know that their "Machine God" could be or is the Void Dragon

  • The Void Dragon is confirmed to be dead the Emprha killed him in the book Mechanicum and put his body to be studied on mars.

  • no, the Void Dragon is alive but trapped. The Emperor even admits that it is beyond his ability to destroy. Also, the Mechanicum does not study him, he used to send them dreams of technology. It is implied that the defenses that held him in place are either gone or almost gone.

  • The void dragon is one of the necron gods of technology responsible for there advanced propulsion technology on their tomb ships. The Void dragon is said to lie under the surface of Mars, necron ships have bypassed ALL imperial defenses via advanced propulsion systems and landed on mars, but were destroyed by defense cannons upon landing. Their purpose is unknown but sinister.

  • @holysoks1 The Necrons or the defense cannons? If you mean the Necrons then they probably went there to try and free the Void Dragon or to just kill all the techpriests. They may replace much with machines but they're still living creatures with fleshy bits and so they're a target for anything looking for genocide on a galactic scale.

  • @Japaneseanimeguy

Actually they don't have fleshy bits anymore.

They're metallic skeletons mechanised with 'living metal' and a soul captured inside.

The metallic body dulls the souls sentience so they don't realise they're slaves.

Their intentions are unknown, but they may have been trying to awaken the Void Dragon so that it can return to the void amongst the other Necron gods and aid in the removal of the 'disease' which is life that has plagued the universe for so long.

  • @holysoks1 When I said fleshy bits I meant the techpriests of mars. I already know about the unliving Necrons and the fact that they're not fully aware of what they do. It's the C'tan who control them.

  • @Japaneseanimeguy Actually you're wrong about them being a target for the whole 'genocide on a galactic scale'

The Tyranid's have avoided Tomb Worlds

And the Necrons are on a galaxy wide genocide.

    They hate living things...

  • yh, the c'tan name is the void dragon though. although it is worshipped as the omnissah

  • I read somewhere that the adeptus mechanicus worshipped the void dragon before the emperor arrived, then he arrived and was instantly worshipped as the omnissah.

So it is both the necron C'tan and the emperor.

    Kinda.

  • The adeptus mechanicus doesnt follow the imperial religion, as a treaty was made so that at the start of the imperium - the mars empire would arm the emperors armies in exchange for any and all STC machines found(they held all known construction knowledge and they gave instructions on how to build the land raider's/ titans etc).the emperor was seen as an envoy to the machine gods and with that he was held highly - because of his assention to the golden throne they stopped worshiping him as aGod

  • Sturm is a bastard!!!

he shelled guant's men in first and only!!!!!

  • This guy is Sturnn not Sturm.

  • Mate he said Sturm not Sturnn :P.

General Sturm bombarded the Gaunts Ghosts. He was a general of the Volpone. He was talking about a different person :D.

  • LOL, he said IG led by General Sturnn. But he is General Sturnn, LOOOOOOOOL!! Why did he say led by me rather then act like he's a third party. ROFL!!

  • sturns voice sounds more experienced and fair, not like the dc voice where he just sounds as some whiny guy and dictator. I do love ELiphases voice better than the old one. But the sorcerer voice is badder. In short all new voices are not so good exept chaos lord gorgutz and eldar

  • i say the Sorcerer's voice from the first DoW (Sindri) was the best one for the Sorcerer and i agree on Eliphas' voice

  • I agree, sounds more sophisticated

  • sturns voice sounds more experienced and fair, not like the dc voice where he just sounds as some whiny guy and dictator. I do love ELiphases voice better than the old one. But the sorcerer voice is badder. In short all new voices are not so good exept chaos lord gorgutz and eldar

  • His voice is so freakin' cool!

  • this guy really had a great voice. Jason Alexander in DC sounded like a whiny brat

  • Naah, he wasn't that bad :P

But I agree with you that Paul Dobson's(The voice actor for the old general) voice suited an Imperial general better.

  • All the original voice actors were so much better. Gabriel Angelos, Isador Akios, Sindri, Colonel Brom, Sturn, even the original Guard from DOW are better than the new ones. Only ones who got better were the Orks. Gorgutz is hilarious.

  • Correction! Governor Militiant Lukas Alexander of the First Kronus Regiment: The Liberators

  • Bah, I really liked Lukas Alexander's voice. I'm in the minority it seems.

  • No you're not...

People just love sturnn so much, they think of Lukas as a whelp.

    I think Lukas is awesome.

Sturnn gets the best quote, Lukas gets the best monologue.

  • stubbs in even worse he got the worst of both

  • @BigDickCheney add one more to the minority

  • @BigDickCheney yeah he is my favourite IG leader

  • @BigDickCheney I liked Lukas Alexander as well, though I do agree that Sturnn sounds even more badass.

  • OH I Remember playing that bit and watching that video on the demo!

  • It's good i have winter assault on 2 cds

I haven't played it yet, i have installed only dawn of war and dark crusade.

  • Incredible intro, thankyou so much for uploading these, I shall have to upload my playlists to include them.
