  • I was present for the filming of part of this commercial. My father Brian Padberg directed McDonalds commercials in California from approx 1975 until about 1980 when he took a promotion into a corporate communications position in Oakbrook., IL. I met King Moody on the set of the two shoots Dad took me to see. What a great experience for a kid to have!

  • DAAAAAMN I REMEMBER THIS COMMERCIAL AND THOUGHT I WAS THE ONLY PERSON WHO DID! GLAD I WAS WRONG.....: )

  • HOLY GOD!! I haven't seen this McDonald's Ad since I was a kid!!! Thanks a million for this upload!!!

  • Wow! This ad represented us, The United States, at that time. How novel by today's standards, but at the same time, so interesting to see how relevant this brand has remained over the decades. I say Bravo McDonald's for always staying relevant.

  • How do you breathe in that white hood of your's?

  • They've got Christmas in Japan. Didn't you see episode 38 of Digimon Adventure 02?

And at Christmas, most Japanese people eat KFC.
