Thanks for uploading. Great movie! There will be arms and there will be arms dealers. There was a time not so long ago that almost every town had a smith who forged weapons for killing and sold them to anyone who could afford. I find this movie no more depressing than that!
@hosam613 Keep hating on Jews, Mr. Arab, the computer you use to spread your hate was developed by Jews. What has your nation developed? Only violence and stupidity.
@DrHavoc1 well, i was talking about Zionists in the first place, second who is talking about violence ??!! haha you made me laugh, read your history buddy before you get your head full of bullshits about arabs, third of all, i do not usually argue with morons and idiots like you, end of the story !
@hosam613 Asad slaughters thousands of his own people, dozens every day, just like the king of Jordan did some 50 years ago. What do arabs do? Nothing. Israel accidentally kills one civilian and all your shitty media is flooded with lies about genocide. Why? Because you are sloth who only opens its mouth, when your religious leaders allow you to. So have fun banging your head on a carpet for the rest of your life. Had Israel not existed, you would still be murder loving sick fucks.
Another one of Cage's underrated roles and movies. It's both an intresting peice on the arms industry, with a compelling and realistic performance from Cage. And it's one hell of a cynical movie. Awsome.
This film makes me so angry. I know violence isn't the answer but I would love to have those people on their knees with tiers swelling down their face with realisation of what helplessness, weakness, fear and hopelessness feels like. They will beg for their life, so I shall give it them, because we all know your life flashes before your eyes before a crucial moment.
usa largest seller of fire arms?, i love the country that has big military fire arms and gladly they are on our side... so they dont sell arms to our enemy... yet:)
@mrzwerus the USA armed, funded and trained the taliban in the 70s and 80s to fight the soviets. they sent them 3billion of aid between 2000 and early 2001 alone. what do you think they did with the training, the weapons and the money, hmmm?
@GanzZulu that's what you call not thinking a head which everyone has done, humans never stop and think of the consequences of their actions, we where so sure the soviets where the greatest threat to the free world and now we got caught in a war with people we armed and trained
it not only drugs that can become an addiction its the things we are good at we do them because it makes us feel good about are self a natural thing and i think this film shows that well ;) amazing film :D

@hosweetim89 Come on i dont understand how you hadn't seen it already the most influential people in earth dont ever go to jail such as Stros skan from IMF
@14istheluckynumber like he says at the end 'arms dealers are gonna inherit the earth' because we the people killing each other will bring the end of ourselves...
That's interesting. With the population reaching 7 billion people (speculation ranges between 9 and 11 billion by 2050), resources will inevitably become harder to obtain, sheer greed always a factor, I'd be interested why you believe that fighting over it isn't necessary... if anything, conflict over resources is only a matter of time.
@TheRevJonnyNemo Because as time goes by we are *increasing* our resource pool, especially by inventing new sources of energy, which extend the other resources - especially food and water - immensely.
Invention and implementation aren't the same thing. So called alternative have been well past prototype stages for decades, yet extreme few have seen production, but conflict continues. Human nature has always been to fight to take, not to share. If it has been shared, it's been strictly regulated. Whether or not there's a need to fight will always take a backseat. Reasoning with the violent isn't an option.
@TheRevJonnyNemo I don't know why you are so hellbent on being a pessimist trying to paint mankind in teh worst light. But you are...
Fortunately reality and mankind doesn't care: the number of conflicts are steadily decreasing, the birthrates have leveled out, health is improving globally...
We're getting there... and self-flagelating doom-sayers like you are proven wrong every day.
@mkarnerfors Not a pessimist, just a student of sociology, mass psychology and world history. To take an "everything is lovely" outlook isn't realistic.
I certainly love how if you're disagreed with in any fashion (YouTube, other social sites), you're given a label or attacked... I wonder why it is that I don't.
Oh right, because I have nothing to gain by insulting anyone.
Right, and those like you enjoy labeling those that don't agree with you, diverting the subject from what was discussed/ debated into a discussion that clearly makes you feel like you know better. Any any of my colleagues with those pesky degrees would be labeled 'pessimists' too, by your logic. All tosh though; I'm used to it, it's a usual response from the left.
@TheNataliaMF because he's got nothing left except himself and a potential to keep being rich. And besides, if he stepped down, someone else would step up. His leaving the business would change nothing in the business, but probably make him poorer. Well, financially at any rate. I think he's become apathetic with the moral side.
Absolutely brilliant film. This should be watched by everyone, as it bears a very important message. Small arms are the real weapons of mass destruction, and yet we spend more time worrying about nuclear weapons, which like Jack Valentine said 'just sit in their silos'.

@InfantryFodder93 Congressman Charles Nesbitt Wilson and his acquaintants were the people who made it possible for the Mujahadeen to fight back against the Soviets. The stunt he pulled became the largest covert-operation ever undertaken by the CIA.
It's a good movie: Tom Hanks, Julia Roberts and Philip Seymour Hoffman.
It's amazing how well Yuri has figured everything out. But I guess that's how the system and order of things work today: Supply and demand, the enemy of my enemy is my customer...
