I had Allstate auto insurance. I got a letter in the mail one day saying they had decided to terminate my policy, that they did not want to insure me anymore. I had no accients, no claims, no problems, just out of the blue they cancelled my policy and left me with no insurance. Customer rep said the company reserves the right to insure who they wish and to terminate polices at their discretion. Allstate sucks and I urge everyone not to do buisness with them.
Actually, they may have done you a favor by dropping you since they give lousy service. My friend who recommended them to me ran into a big problem after I signed with them for car insurance. Their "good hands" became closed fists & she had to get a lawyer after them to get recourse. Therefore, out of principle, as soon as I could I dropped them & signed on with State Farm - @ a nice savings as well!
