Fran actually looks like she means what she's singing, whereas I have to say that Ashley doesn't, and she seems very unnatural. Everything that Fran does seems natural, and I think that's what made her so special!

Meh. It's a bit late now, but I rally thought he should have got rid of Ashley earlier on - and also, that Francesca should really have stayed. I don't agree with the comment about Ashley's voice - I think her voice is pretty generic and not special. I think Francesca's voice is stunning and quite unique.

Fran was amazing and is a star. Andrew loylld webber hates ashleys voice so she wont be in it for much longer. I SAY BRING BACK FRANN! she's done Rent, which was class, and can do SOO much better than nancy! keep your head up Fran, your career is just about to start!

fran looks to be workin too hard to me when she sings, makes t a bit hard to watch.looking at past performances ash can belt but knows when to be subtle as well.plus ash is a better actress by a mile.i feel nothing when franscesca performs n it doesn't help that she doesn't even look d role.tooo bad 4 her fans coz she seems a really lovely girl but even ignoring d fact dat this role ain't for her she really isn't all that talented an actress, just experienced. ashley was d rite decision

Fair Points! However having the priviledge to know Fran and her voice, I know that she will work! This was a great way for her to gain some publicity and showcase a part of her phenomonal talent-because trust me, there's plenty more where that came from. I don't believe that Ashley could ever out sing Fran and think that she does need to do some work on that voice (especially her belt voice if she's even considering playing Nancy or performing on ANY stage) All I can say is WATCH THIS SPACE!!

he voted francesca out because of tactile voting, if he keeps the ones he doesnt like in, it makes it easier to vote them off next week or the week after. He's already decided who he wants to play Nancy, he just has to vote off the one the audience will put in the sing off next week.

I Saw Francesca in RENT , and she doesnt deserve to limit herself to shows like this, she'll be a star, its a shame ashley outsung her in the song. but maybe she just isnt suppossed to be Nancy, shes too "pretty" i want Jodie to win personally, she is what i think Nancy SHOULD BE.

BUT on this instance, I feel Webber went on the fact Francessca's been in the bottom two twice. With the situation with Keisha, it's clear her voices is more stronger than Tara's was.

Franchesca was robbed. Its the shows fault, all the songs she has been given have not suited her voice. I saw her in Rent on westend and she was fantastic.

Ashley is good but out the 2 of them she should have gone.

there is no need to get harsh on people because of hair colour and nationality - all of the girls in the nancy house are extemeely supportive of each other - esp ashley and francesca - perhaps take a leaf out of their - professional - book and be a little more gracious. Francesca was fantastic but the alw sided wit hthe panel based on a LIVE performance - perhaps if you had been in the studio you may have had any grounds for questioning the decision - but im guessing you werent....

Perhaps the sing-off should've been postponed until Andrew Lloyd Webber could be in the studio LIVE to make the decision. The panel didn't comment on the sing-off so it was all up to ALW...who was watching on a screen the other side of the world, and had no way to know what it was like live. It wasn't fair on the girls, on the public who phoned in to vote, or on ALW - it was up to the producers to think of solutions before the show went on air.
