hi guys i want to tell you a tip of how you can do all the planes flyable, well first you go to C:program files, Lead Pursuit, Battlefield Operations,Campaign, you choose any campaign you want, find the(valid AC ) and rename it in any name you want and start the game you can fly any plane and in everything (except for dogfights) try it its amazing

@DarknessE69, I am a pilot and I needed to sleep with the manual, sp3 & 4 supplements, knee board charts, and checklists under my pillow for like a week because I hadn't flown a falcon in 4 or 5 years. That made for a good start, but peace means practice. I've logged a few hundred hours since I started back up and I THINK I'm ready for some multiplayer missions... Schools open, any one want to come train?

That happens because this is not a game in the way you could think. You need to read the manual (about 500 pages) and of course fly with a stick or better, a HOTAS like Saitek X52 PRO. Try to google for the HOTAS and try to read the manual, paying special attention to the lessons.

@theonlyCWB Download the SP4 Ramp Start Trainer program. Run it like 2 or 3 dozen times until you can do the whole sequence by memory. Or you can give up now and uninstall the thing there isn't really any middle ground here.

Actually I agree with Mike on certain terms, I don't think it was addressed properly but after all this isn't an instructional video. However IF it was I would say very poor flight mechanics. And to improve Mike would have been right. You don't HAVE to be a Fighter Pilot to know how to properly fly an aircraft like this but something is needed [obviously]. I have 52 hours in the F-15 simulator at OANG when I was in CAP, but you don't need full expirience.

Told to hold short on taxi by ATC, failed to do so. Excessive climb rate after takeoff with slow airspeed caused stall warning,failed to get clearance to land and unacceptable glide path on final approach. 150 airspeed before runway...not 200 or if you do your seeing the landing gear blows off under you...than keep close to your airspeed always watch it. give message to tower..landing gear out..move the stick slowly up to your seeing that your start glideing, watch your Hud display picth ladder should be on 0.01 than your seeeing the marker creeps along the hud and gose up.. means your plane si going correct before landing than start flare..

Can anybody fly a fighter with no stick? This is real flight simulation man, you don´t drive a car without a wheel in your hands, so that´s the same. A real simulator needs a good stick like Saitek X-52 PRO or Hotas Cougar. .

Sometimes pilots must make a new approach because of a failing landing. They just go around and try it again, the Air Traffic Control gives them the necessary information. Alternate landing fields are there when you´re unable to land because of the weather or so.

Well I think that flying Falcon 4 and an F-16 is far more complicated than braking the plane with the K key. I fully recommend reading the manual.

You need to learn how to flare (use the body of the aircraft as a giant drag brake) and make sure you don't descend at an angle thats too sharp. You should only be doing 130 when you reach the runway.

just besure you have your eye on your speed.. 250 airspeed on landing.. pitch ladder on 0.1 ask for permission for landing to control tower.. Landing gear out. New display will come up in the hud display. always look att your speed when the landing, when gear scratch the runway..ADI (alltitude director indicator) will turn on and this functions works also like brakes...

in Falcon AF i can pull 9,3 Gs and 17 degrees/sec at 750 knots - is this ok? The corner speed for F-16 is an average of 420 knots , that is the speed for the best turn

LOCK ON is not really an accurate simulation. More of an Arcade-sim.

Falcon 4.0 Allied Force is more of a combat simulator. Uber realism etc. It's very nice. I love it. It comes with tactical reference and you have so much versatility in choosing missions. It's also amazing to fly online multiplayer. Personally i play @ multivipers. Very nice place. Everyone is keen to help newbs.

FALCON 4.0 is more realistic than IL-2, Lock ON series, JANE's series.

Arcade is pushing it, its kind of the middle ground, especially with the Su-25T that things a bitch, but with DCS: Black Shark (next sim by producers of Lock On) it will be possibly more realistic than F4 AT LEAST as realistic. I agree though, at the moment Falcon 4 is most realistic...In some parts. I would say Il-2 damage, LOMAC FM, F4 all round realism. If you could combine the three it would be awesome. But you cant, so for now Ill just fly all 3 =D

After flying this for a while, you'll eventually develope a "6th sense" that allows u to land even w/o hud, ils or tacan (if u can find the base, that is). I suppose that's how the real thing works. And that is one of the reasons why this simulator is (for me) the best one ever made. ^_^

Try the "EAOAL" (Extreme Angle of Attack Landing) 20°+. Airbreake. Keep your steek pulled and use thrust (+ AB!) to balance the glide slope. Use inertia and don't try to roll (stall!). Use yaw to line-up if you have to. You wont see the runway, so be sure you're heading for the tarmac. Speeds 109-115 kts. Don't forget to push your nose down just before tuch-down! After tuchdown pitch up to aerobrake, whillbreake and you should be able to leave runway at the first exit.

Landing in this game is very easy if you know the basic physics of an object and the wind resistance. Look up flaring on google and see how it's done. You want to travel at about 140-150 knots when touching down. Then it is important to keep the nose up, (about 13 degrees) until it drops down by itself. One tip is to save the airbrakes before you are just about to touch the ground. Done correctly you will have to accelerate to make it to the end of the runway!
