  • every day he's shuffling

  • Im looking to start Martial Arts.

but im not quite sure where to start, there isnt really any martial arts training facilities in my area.

i want to begin with basic drills and techniques from home, what do you recommened? and where should i start?

  • Hello i do taekwondo for 3 years, i have good balance etc, but my left leg is bad. can anyone give tips to improve kicking on my left leg?

  • @xSilkify Yes, check out this video: /watch?v=43XXz1FKAek

  • @turtlepress Thanks for the quick reply.

  • 0:25 LMFAO should put that in the "Party Rock Anthem" MV

  • at 0:37, it looks like he's doing the jerk

  • VERY NICE,,,,,HOWEVER CAN HE DO THIS WHEN HE IS IN HIS LATE 50S 60S AND 70S?

IF YES, I WOULD BE VERY IMPRESS.

  • @slouttop There are people doing so, so yes it is possible. Mr. Kim looks like he is in very good condition already. It's always better to be in shape and attempting to be in best shape, rather than telling ourselves it can not be done, or any other excuses.

  • Thumbs up if you thought of hardstyle dancing when you first saw the clip :D

  • i'm a taekwondo player for 3 years but my skills didn't improve that much. i have incredible stamina and flexible legs but my balance and leg strength sucks, i never won in any fight, even a simple sparring. i really love this sport so can anyone give me tips to improve? thank you very much..

  • @TheWhiteTragedy There are plenty of ways to improve. Are you sure you should be doing Taekwondo? If you haven't improved after that much time maybe try a different style or a different school. I think either you aren't putting enough into it or your teacher isn't. The only real way to get better at fighting is to fight. Spar more often perhaps. As far as leg strength practice all of your kicks on the bag at different pivot points and do some weight training perhaps.

  • @bryanzellar

also leg strength isnt essential to be a good fighter in taekwondo, footwork is a lot more important.

  • @TheWhiteTragedy Master Kim has posted a video reply to you here /watch?v=9vKK30PZsDE

  • @YyJoBb it depends, hight advantage is really great in a fight because you have the longer reach and if you have great flexability to go with it then its just plain annoying. Though if your opponent has hight, flexability and good technique you can pretty much kiss your but good bye. You can win if you have the skill and flexability but your pretty much in for an anoying fight.

  • @YyJoBb That depends on the skill level of the adversary. My buddy is under 5'8 and he has no difficulty with taller opponents.

  • Ok, go to a park an run around like a horse. Got it! No just kidding great drill training!

  • HOLD UP< DID HE SAY 15 to 100 TIMES !!!! LOL possibly 50 to 100 but if he said 15 TAHTS A BIG GAP!!! LOL

  • We do these drills n TaekwonDo and they're very effective, you'll see results pretty quickly.

  • asian teach you good stuff you know

  • HARDCORE ! HAKKKKKEN !

  • i'm sorry but #LOL because the guy just looked like he was dancing.

  • @shishi53 Ha Ha, doesn't matter what it looks like, It's what it does for you.

  • 1/10

  • very good lower body strenghtening and speed drills

  • lmao, I couldn't help but laugh at the guy demonstrating :P

  • Without a foundation how do you build a house?

What's wrong with people these days..do they think you just start wailing like Bruce Lee the first day of training?

  • @flickerman68 I tell people pretty much the same thing you say all the time and they look at me like i smell like french fries.

  • @BrucLeeroy25 Lol those "special" people lol

  • @flickerman68 Exactly I have been doing martial arts for 23 years now and my foundation style was Moo Duk Kwan and i definetly had to build roots before i sprouted a trunk or branches.

  • @flickerman68 *sigh* yes they do.. My older friend has done Shaolin Kung Fu for almost 15 years and he's trying to teach a good friend of both of ours and he puts all his effort into his kicks without first learning a calm, controlled kick. It's brutal trying to teach him.

  • @justinhardt1 Sad sad sad lol

  • you need to learn to walk before you can run.. This isnt how to kick, these techniques are the fundamentals which build into your kicks. Can i ask.. Do you do taekwondo by any chance?

  • I've seen varsity taekwondo athletes do variations of this drill.

  • I'm familiar with some of these, and the others I'll steel from this. Good!

  • @deejin25 I can't help but think how diabolical it sounds when you say you'll steal from this. Though I'm basically doing the same thing really.

  • @brianfarrer11 I'm the diaboilical cross trainer, technique stealer, martial artist, only way to be that gives you both knowledge of the past, and freedom to innovate. LOL!

  • EXCELLENT!
