There is moist definatley a god. last night my dad was at work 2nd shift and he was at a machiene. and his arm got caught in the machiene and it slowly pulled him in and started breaking and cutting his arm when his shirt started to tighten around his neck and his neck was going in he said this... "help me god" at that moment his shirt ripped and he passed out. he woke up in the ambulance and he didnt feel the pain.

@deparinge Because we aren't saved by our works. No one goes to heaven by being a good person. We are saved through faith in Jesus Christ. Also, no one has only made a few mistakes in their life. People sin every day. God doesn't weigh the good against the bad. We are saved by grace (unmerited favor) through faith.

i would just like to add a "when God protected me". when i was 7 i was practicing shooting at sticks that my dad threw into the water. It was like a 22 or something gun...but i brought it down (from when i shot at a stick) and it was really heaving so my arm lost grip of it while my finger was still on the trigger, and the gun swung down and the pressure of my finger on the trigger made it shoot. There was a black spot (gun powder) in the snow less than .5 cm away from my boot. God saved my foot

Because of this, those who are close with God witness his proof because he knows they have faith.

Ask any Christian if a god exists and they will say yes but commonly they cannot provide any reasons to base their answer on. Some even use excuses to avoid providing reasons such as saying "you can't prove he doesn't exist" or "god is unprovable." The inability to prove the non-existence of something is not evidence for its existence and if you think a claim is unprovable it is dishonest to make the claim.

There is moist definatley a god. last night my dad was at work 2nd shift and he was at a machiene. and his arm got caught in the machiene and it slowly pulled him in and started breaking and cutting his arm when his shirt started to tighten around his neck and his neck was going in he said this... "help me god" at that moment his shirt ripped and he passed out. he woke up in the ambulance and he didnt feel the pain.

@deparinge Because we aren't saved by our works. No one goes to heaven by being a good person. We are saved through faith in Jesus Christ. Also, no one has only made a few mistakes in their life. People sin every day. God doesn't weigh the good against the bad. We are saved by grace (unmerited favor) through faith.

i would just like to add a "when God protected me". when i was 7 i was practicing shooting at sticks that my dad threw into the water. It was like a 22 or something gun...but i brought it down (from when i shot at a stick) and it was really heaving so my arm lost grip of it while my finger was still on the trigger, and the gun swung down and the pressure of my finger on the trigger made it shoot. There was a black spot (gun powder) in the snow less than .5 cm away from my boot. God saved my foot

What lead to the big bang is up to speculation, and since the universe as we know it did not exist before the big bang, it would be very hard if not impossible to prove what .Lack of an explanation is not justification to make up whatever you want and give credit to what is, essentially, equivalent to "magic".

So when an innocent victim of war happens to be Muslim, guess what? He chose for them to burn in hell. Suggesting God has a plan for everyone suggests the future has already been written. If the future is already written in stone and decided by God, then free will does not exist. Very contradictory and laughably confusing ideas.

I didn't mean they weren't connected. More specifically, they are two different ways of thinking, and this is less obvious than you might think. Evidence is needed for earthly things, but the point of faith is the loyalty without proof or question. Because of this, those who are close with God witness his proof because he knows they have faith.
It's not meant to be an arguable matter. If you want to know for real, quit trying to argue with people and go experience it. And no half assing it.

I'd like to explain something, if you really want to understand rather than judge.
Science and Christianity are not only two different things, but completely different worlds. You must know that to completely understand, *and if you truly mean it when you say you want to* that you must experience it first. This means you must actually read the bible, actually pray to God as if he existed, and mean it.

What I believe in "how it all began" does not matter, in the end all we can rely on is the evidence.
I don't believe in any beings claimed to be invisible, I don't believe in any spirits, ghosts, souls, gods or any fictional creatures.
I know there are unexplained things but I'll wait for the evidence or personal experience to show me what it is, rather than making assumptions based on ignorance and wishful thinking.

No firstly i would like to point out that getting malaria, dieing, in an earthquake or being killed by someone else in a mass genocide is not being in control of your own destiny.
And i wasnt questioning the morality of alcohol, more the moral shortcomings of jesus deciding to make more alcohol for a party instead of curing some terrible desease or averting a natural disaster.

I believe in God not becuse someone told me that was something i should do. It is because I feel love and compassion and it doesnt feel like it comes from my brain it feels like there is something else that makes you feel this way. It is unexplainable really. When I do read the Bible it does mention the compassion in Jesus heart on the creation of mankind. I feel that is the same compassion and love inside me. Thats why I believe it has nothing to do with my intellect or anyone elses.

We do need salvation. God wants us to return to paradise where we are supposed to be. He created thee Garden of Eden for Man, not for anybody else. We are His friends, not His slaves, and He is our God, not a tyrant leader, we are imperfect yet He wants to live with His creation. We are family when we get there. These are not miracles of God...These are miracles of Nature, which took 4,5 billion years to be created...God and Religion are the biggest inventions, which were created in order to manipulate others peoples minds.

Billions of years? Were you there? I'm sorry to tell this, but if you use your common sense, you have been fooled, tricked, or manipulated by a textbook or Discovery channel.Some people are only afraid to face the truth that their is a Designer and Creator of heavens and earth. Many fear to know God because of their sins, which can be easily forgiven by the forgiving God our Creator through Jesus Christ. To fear God is not a bad thing, to reject God is not the right thing.

Manipulate? God is not manipulating His creation, he is guiding them. You get confused by various religions, and God Himself. You don't need a religion to have access to God. Adam and God didn't have any ceremony to live together. God only asks us to be obedient( and this is a proof of your love to Him).

I hope that you all could see this wonderfull images. Now close your eyes and make yourself this question: How "God" can spend his time making those things while in Africa (for exemple), his "sons and daughters" are killing and being killed? Can anyone tell me?
PS: I respect your "point of view", but for me, God doesn´t exist, or if he does exist, he have a stone heart.

Tell me this my friend, isn't it ironic how people put God to one side then ask why this world is going to hell? Do you think if everyone in Africa had the love of Christ in there heart there would be death? did you know that south Africa is the christian haldf, and there all rich because that's where all the diamonds are? just a fun fact there. Oh, i´m sorry, didn´t know that "all" in south Africa are rich. And here is another fun fact, and it´s just for you! Those diamonds made a real mess in there. Because of them, lot of people where killed, in the past and in the present! And since it appears tha you are a christian, could you make the questions that i just did to "God"? I´m sure "He" will answer you. And one of my questions is: If "God" cares about all of us, why people like Hittler ever existed?

man what was that about? of couse i didn't literally mean all of south africa, but south africa the christian half is the place with the most diamonds in the world. And by the way God does answer my questions when it's time. God gives us free will, It was Hitlers choice to be so dumb, and guess what, right now he is facing the consequences, as the Bible says people like him are thrown into the league of fire forever.
