Thanks for your answer! I am a fan of The Dubliners for a long time and after leaving The Dubliners I lost Ronnie out of sight. I am sad to hear of his severe illness! Also good health of my side!

Sadly Ronnie died yesterday, 16th August.

He was a great balladeer and character and his songs will live on.

He has been diagnosed with Cancer (Troat Cancer I believe).

He also broke his leg and is walking with a stick.
