you are so lucky you didn't break a bone! It looked like your horse tripped a little at the end. You looked amazing, its a real bummer you fell off so close to the finish. Your horse is so pretty though!:)

omg, ur horse, would have totally freakt out. I'm not a western saddle expert. but I see that that second strap(I don't know how I sould name it) was still on, so the whole saddle would hung on that one.

my whole team HATES people tht go into western speed classes in an english saddle. they say they're stupid for even trying to do that. i have to admit; it is a dumb move.
but i totally give you credit. that takes some major skills. and hey, it may be a dumb move but since when does that matter in the world of barrel racing :]

it looked like your saddle slipped or your girth wasnt tight enough. that happend to me b4 to my saddle slipped and i almost fell off. it happend 2 i was cantering not doing the barrel pattern and i went up hill and i fell off like that too!!!
dang. coz u dont think to look at the screws, just general wear and tear and whether the girth is done up. obviously ud know if the screws were loose...if u knew where to look...but to come out!!!im still trying to get my head around it!
