  • I bought this case on sale. It's awesome!

It came with a few bonuses, such as a black tray for bits & pieces that actually fits into one of the 5.25" bays, and a black frame that appears to be for holding a 14cm fan, in the case.

One difference on mine is the front doors don't have magnets. They're held in place by the friction of a tiny O ring at the base of each door hinge. It's not biggie, because they work, but I would have preferred magnets.

-The case is worth every dollar it cost! :-D

  • отличный корпус...уже 4 года как у меня соит,и конечно с кучей переделанного под себя.

  • While this case is a bit heavy for a computer case, at 16.8kg (37.0lb), it's not all that heavy compared to a lot of other things, such as a computer chair, desk, microwave oven or a car. :-p

  • Way to much plastic!

  • will this case fit a 5970?

  • @mrtawhaistraugheir this case is ultra large it will fit 20 gtx 590 in it

  • I can't find this thing anywhere in white. Looks sooo damn good

  • wait.. it has a REMOVABLE MOTHERBOARD TRAY?? AND YOU DIDN'T GIVE IT A 100% KICKASS RATING?? umad rodney :)

  • one hundred and fourty fourty fourty milimeter!!

  • lol pussy, the only time you move it around is to put it in your car and on the table of a lan party.

  • @seacuracao but still then it would be handy to be lighter but i dont care!XD

  • @123marijn321 meh, i would definitely not care, gives you some work out :D :P

  • This review was the most thorough one I've seen on the internet so far. I've seen things that this case can do that I haven't seen in other reviews or on its page on Newegg. My speakers must have broken when you gave an example of the stock cooling though. :P

  • BEST CASE EVER

  • OWNAGE.

  • This makes my HAF 922 look like an ass-clown...

  • ive had this case for over 2 years now i modified the window using a dark smoked blue acrylic and removed the side fan i also mounted 2x 140mm fans in the bottom.

this case does get dusty very quickly so have to have cans of compressed air handy overall its a briliant case keeps my components cool even under load.

what rodney didnt mention at the time is theres another version of this case called ESA it has a handy fan controller built in and works with any ESA enabled motherboard!

  • Thats a Thermaltake "King Kong Edition" lol

  • side panel fan look absolutly like swastka blue led swastika thermaltake is maybe nazi :D

  • this case reminds me of the Bugatti veyron

  • I HAVE IT! MY BEAUTIFUL ARMOR YAY! i love it!

I recommend it for all the ppl!!! (who can afford it sure)

  • @lautaross13 me too!

  • and the motherboard tray is removable... WHAT. REALY! THEY DO MAKE THEM! WOW!

  • fap fap fap fap

  • Why are all the Different collors named some random numbers when they are all the same....

  • I want to nowk if I can install big water 760is in this case...thank you

  • The.. MOTHERBOARD TRAY IS REMOVABLE!

  • shity ass case

  • do i get something with this case so i can mount a 3,5 inch card reader in the front?

  • corsair 600t FTW

  • @613ron Nevermind it looks like a massive brick and it's boring as hell.

  • i thinks the 1200 is better :)

  • I have the LCS version of this case.... yep ... it is heavy...so what? I love it.. It's big, ballsy and easy to fit out... The cooling system is easy to fit and works great.

I fitted mine with a ASUS Rampage II Gene mobo powered by a Gigabyte Odin 800w Pro psu. I added a Palit GTX285 Graphics card, (which is quite large).. 'though it easily fit in the case with room to spare.

The only minor gripe is having the front USBs on top. I would much prefer them to be on the front.... Great case!

  • Rodney, do you like this case better than the Speedo full size one? This case has a larger view window and pull out motherboard tray which is a great selling point in my opinion!!

  • Why dont all companies think of having top mounted power supplies because the heat then leaves the case and doesnt flow over the components

  • This case or the Obsidian 800D?

  • Would a ASRock X58 Extreme3 Motherboard fit in this case?

  • is this case good ???

  • @juusto559 Yes this case is awesome just got mine

  • I HIGHLY, highly recommend this case. The best I've purchased YET.

  • Does anyone know if a TFC xchanger 360 rad fits on the bottom of the case??

  • @legokidnaruto With the hard drive relocation kit to move your hard drives into your unused 5.25" drive bays, you could probably fit upto a 480 on the bottom (internal). Note that there are 2x hose holes beside the psu, 2x hose holes on the back under the fan, and 2x hose holes on the very bottom as well for external LCS. If you move your front panel buttons/usb, you could remove the entire top plastic piece and mount a massive radiator there as well (external).

  • @jerryb1988

Nice Thanks for the info XD

  • and the motherboard tray is removable

  • cool a place at the top to hide your weed

  • I got this case and it IS heavy, with all the goodies inside of it, mine tops off at 70 pounds

  • I have the mid-tower armor case, and I do not like the fact that the face plate is held together with a couple of plastic parts because they damage easy. My faceplate is not able to keep its self attached to the PC anymore.

  • only 3 fans. gay

  • @andywarecommando 1x installed at the front. 1 optional can be mounted on the back side of the hard drive cage (Not shown in this video), 1 optional can be installed on the top, 2 optional can be mounted on the bottom, 1 installed on the back, 1 installed on the side panel. 3 pre-installed, but room for 4 optional fans. I would buy some higher performance fans and replace the stock ones anyways.

  • toolbox my ass, thats a good hiding spot for weed

  • great review but i dont think i like the case.

  • I was going to buy the Cosmos S but this one got my attention i love that it has the same features as the Cosmos s and more like the slideable motherboard tray that's what i wanted this is the case for me thank you

Just one question will it fit XL ATX motherboards?

  • @1015287 Yes.

  • its not a tool box dude its a weed box

  • @thelilhacker THTAS WHAT THE BLUE LED FOR

  • He stressed on the word "extremely"..

Now I'm afraid to get this case.

  • @kishona69 lol :S

  • is this better than the antec 1200?

  • christopher walken?

  • @3DGAMEMAN

in your next case review with a case that has LED fans could you try and show them off...

my reason for saying this is that people who are always showing off their gaming rigs want to see a case lit up before they buy it.

  • no front panels ftw!

  • ill by it next week !!! this is sooo nice ^^

  • I'm getting a new case soon. And guy seems like a good choice.. But is the airflow any good in it? I noticed it only have 1 entrance and exit. (I don't know if that's the norm. I'm kind of a noob)

  • My VH6000SWA only has two thumb screws at the bottom for removing the two lower HDD cases. Also, the SWA is much lighter than the BWS as it's made out of aluminium and not metal.

  • @TheAlphaMale316 aluminium is a metal. Sorry, I'm just anal...

  • does anybody no if you can get a replacement power switch module for these as my led power on light does not seem to be working.

  • onlt problem with these is finding a desk big enough to accomodate them. Personalyl i think they are extremly heavy for carrying. i haven't seen the need for 10 5 1/4" drive bayseven with two dvd drives. THe most important thing is hd mounting room. I find the thermal take armour is just a bit bulky. most computer unit desks will not accomodate its huge size.

  • just ordered one of these. can't wait. such a great looking case.

  • yeah I want one of these with my new build too, awesome looking case, i can't make up my mind between this or the HAF 932 tho

  • that HAF 932 looks pretty damn awesome! but i'm not really a fan of the red

  • Get the one that you think is the most beautiful one, the only real diference is that this case support de VGA X58 Classified 4-Way SLI, not big differences if you wont use this motherboard.

  • Additionally, a 144mm intake fan can be installed if preferred.

  • what is the best cpu case???why??

I need the answer because Im building my ultimate gaming rig.

  • Thermaltake Level 10. Simply search for it on Youtube. Warning: It is VERY expensive.

  • The weight of the case can also be it's advantage! so that's not a biggy. I think it's great!

  • I can't decide between this and the Cosmos S

  • this is a mans case

  • I just got this case in the middle of Dec and I love it, I love the color the side window and all the potential possibilities this case has. Screw the weight this is a big boy case! I LIKE IT!!

  • i think this is the case I want, looks great

  • will it fit 5970 ?

  • yea its funny that u ask that because im buying this case for a build myself and dont worry this thing will fit a ati 5970 no prob :)

  • duh it will, this thing is gigantic

  • Yes.

  • 3DGAME MAN i have a question;

the rear exhaust fan, can be 140mm fan ?

    2. my case cam only with 4 Rubber Pads in the bottom, not 6, what i am missing ? isnt this the VH6000BWS ?

  • i think this should have been a 100% kick ass product

  • no..you are wrong !

i have recently bought this case and the cable management is really great !!

i have hidden a lot of cables back there !

the only problem is the size...

    dude....it's really big !

  • I have this case. Its easy to hide cables...

  • can you turn the leds off?

  • any one ?

  • im just guessing but i dont think you can because the leds are in the fans which are designed to turn on when the fan spins. but its easyer to wire it up yourself. i have done it. locate the leds run new wires from the leds and connect to a switch then run other lead back to fan.

  • this is the perfect alternative to lian li

  • 10 expansion slots! great. i would like to see more cases with at least 8, or 7 without something blocking from using the last 1 for the top of a 2 space video card

  • Yeah i be recomment aside this, a Silverstone Raven RV02 or Spedo Advance. Cheers!!!

  • Good review a hundred and forty, forty, forty, forty, forty, forty, forty, forty, forty, forty, forty, forty, forty, forty, forty, forty, forty, forty, forty, forty, forty millimeter

  • I love the case, except the front panel LEDs; Power, HDD and CPU light do not work

  • Maybe you made a mistake hooking up Front Panel wires

  • Nah, I have the same problem, rehooked them a million times.

  • I love cases like this. Great review

  • Its kick ass man kick ass man!!!!!

  • Nice review. I plan on getting this case in december when I buy the rest of my parts for my christmas break build. I like the extra fan options. Not sure on how the toolless PCI stuff works, but sounds kinda cool I guess. Overall I'm looking forward to this. The main thing I like about this case is the fact that you can route cables behind the motherboard tray, so you can have minimal cable clutter for better airflow across components

  • not recommended for sandwhich cards

  • this or cosmos s?

    hmm...................

  • this

  • lol its all good mate,

i gave you -1 because like i said below, the case comes with a 140mm fan holder which can be screwed/mounted onto the end of the motherboard tray which sits just behind the harddrive bay, this will fix your hdd problem if you are that concerned.

You can also put optional bottom and top fans. so i dont think there is any problem with air flow, i can say i recommend this case its great !!

  • lol

    I gave you -1 buddy

  • Lol why? Its simply aerodynamic design.... any more than 1 HDD will block a good amount of air, but the rest of the case is VERY cool...

  • Comment removed

  • this case made my old antec 900 case look like a mid size case....

  • got one of these cases. I can say it is awesome.

    Pros:

Tonnes of space to work with

    Great room for cable management

    Removable motherboard tray

Tooless 5.25" and 3.5" works great

    Cons:

The case is verrry large and heavy.

The tooless PCI is total crap, my tooless PCI wasnt even aligned straight enough to snap pci cards in securely, stupid clips wernt even touching the mount bracket and would also fall out if the mounting bracket would hit it.

just dont expect anything from the tooless PCI

  • This case seems to have all the features I would want, MY only gripe is that the front fan is blowing air on the HDD's but if you have more then 1 installed it blocks the flow into the rest of the case :-( But if i had the money I would buy this.

  • You can have two drives on the bottom of the case. If you do this you can't fans on the bottom but you would have space free for the front intake fan.

  • Comment removed

  • most cases have front intake fan blowing onto HDD, its a good thing, ya dummy

if you are that concerned about it, the case also comes with a 140mm fan holder that can be screwed onto the motherboard tray just behind where the harddrive bay is.

You can also install extra fans on the bottom and top, so i dont think air flow is a problem ....

  • lol

  • you give me the -1?

  • it was already there

  • a 14040404040 milimiter

    haha rodny

  • Damn, this case is pretty heavy. But my desk can support the weight of my wife and me as well, so I don't think this case would be a problem.

  • or u could just put it on the floor.

  • No space, the desk is a corner desk.

  • hahhahahha

I like how you put your wife first like she is heavier.

    Thats some funny shit.

    Don't mind me I'm bored.

  • lol i know what your implying!

  • Yeah, a desk certainly does have a lot of uses...

  • i don't want to know how you found that out.

  • i dont know what to choose. this or the thermaltake kandalf>?

  • lol "What am i doing?"

  • a hundred and a forty forty forty...... fan :))))))

which is better ? xaser vi or this ?

  • well both are good :D

  • I just wanted to say thank you. When I seen this review I just had to get this case for my new computer.

So thanks again and great review.

  • dude the weight.... it's not for LAN party ppl... so what?

you don't carry around your tower all the time.

  • actually its good at lan partys(only bring a truck haha) but it has a lock so nobody can take the extreme stuff inside this

  • is this case recommended for a first time build?

  • i think so coz from what i see it has lots of space to work. I hope i can buy this case

  • I've heard rave reviews about this, but this thing looks so flimsy to me. It seems cheaply made with the cheap-type plastic. It doesn't even come with an exhaust fan on top! That's another $25 you'll have to spend.

  • It's what you get for the price.. It's a FullTower (most Full Towers dont have top exhaust) with a removible tray and then some.

You want top notch, go Lian Li or SilverStone.

  • But, it's really not that cheap. $185 on Newegg. There are a good bit of nice full towers out there for a smaller price tag. I'd be more than happy to get something with better build quality over excessive, thrown in features than vice versa.

  • yea here in malta 230euro :/

  • Here in the netherlands it's only €152,- =)

  • damn lucky

  • Yea, but €1,- = $ 1,40

  • mm here

    1euro = 0.42 MLT

  • in turkey 1€=2 turkish liras

  • you're both lucky ! its 250 euros here in TURKEY !

  • :) but here everything is high price :/ as for computer parts

  • i am from malta and baught it for 230 euro ..

so what ? worth every single penny ^^

Btw the rear fan is 120mm not 140mm

  • rly? where u live? :)

imma atm et ingemma al graphic card u cpu cooler

  • how r u liking it? i'm thinking of getting a new case.

  • well lian li are very top notch! so are silverstone. but also not very aesthetically pleasing.and cost like 500$ usd

  • what is the difference between this one, and VH8000 or VH8000bws? confused-_-

  • A portable hard drive

  • dont buy this case i got this case and it just like a toy.. but coolermaster or something

  • I am planning to buy a new gaming desktop and this is one of the cases that is an option at the site.

As I have a cockatiel in the gaming room, dust is a big consideration. I found it very helpful to know about the filters and how the air flow worked.

    Great Review!

    Thank you.

  • 140 140 140 milli lol the end bit was funny nice but heavy case im after the xaser 6

  • soon getting this case's little bro Armor Extreme Junior :D when im upgrading my system i need a better case then a Huntkey case like now...

  • this case kicks ass

  • i have this case, pretty awesome

I got this case based on looks this time round, I was going for something with a blue LED and black metallic look to it lol.

This really is good, it isn't too loud.

  • I should of gone with this case instead of the mid tower one.

  • this case looks great but the problem is the price is too expensive....i would prefer haf 932 than this casing..

  • me too, haf is very good case because it has very good wentilation and it is cheap :)

  • hello again, im rodny rennold and welcome to another video review!

  • Nice review Game Man. Appreciate it : - ) 5*****s

  • nice 1 ta mate.

  • whats better this case or antec 1200 ?????

  • 1200

  • I would say Antec 1200 also. Great case

  • antec 1200 or Haf 932

  • 1200 is so uncool

  • I like the reveiw and the added bloopers at the end gave me a good laugh.

  • the silver one is all aluminium

    9kg =)

  • i have thiz case.. It iz BRILLIANT!

  • this case is huge and weighs so much but good!

i got it the other day for my i7 and gigabyte ud5

  • weak lol, can't lift a case xP
