Dips, done with good technique, are probably one of the best ways of developing chest and upper back size and strength. However, doing rock bottom dips are not good for the shoulders and as i found out many years later, regretted the full ROM and paid for it big time.. i was out of training for over 4 years and lost ALL my size and strength but done correctly, this exercise is an excellent upper body builder!

Every set of your every exercise should be like your last set when you said "( i have to power my max )" (but ofcourse your first two should be warming up with easy weights)
You shouldn´t be training with any heavy weights at your age, even if you aren´t growing at length anymore your body limbs and muscels can be growing and they might be misformed and don´t grow ouut correctly.
Dieting is 80% of what your appearance turns out to be and doing exercises like that everyday would be over working the muscles and be slowing down hypertrophy.
