  • ...just to add, i went from a skinny 9stones to 12.5 stones in 3 years but DIDeat properly and did not over train!

  • Dips, done with good technique, are probably one of the best ways of developing chest and upper back size and strength. However, doing rock bottom dips are not good for the shoulders and as i found out many years later, regretted the full ROM and paid for it big time.. i was out of training for over 4 years and lost ALL my size and strength but done correctly, this exercise is an excellent upper body builder!

  • I have been looking for an effective way to develop my inner lower (and inner - in general) pectorals. Narrow grips and cables are good, but I've recently discovered found that dips are INCREDIBLY EFFECTIVE, and have just started using them.

    Reading your comment, i'm slightly worried about what dips may do to my shoulders, may I ask what happened to you?

  • hi i am 16 years old 145 lbs and i would like to know if i am doing is good ok

    My goal is to gain muscle mass+endurance

    So i will give an exemple for the bench press i do 4 sets of 10

    first set with 95 lbs ( easy shit)

    second 115 lbs ( easy)

    thrid 135 ( medium)

    and last set ( i have to power my max ) 155 wich now i do like 7 no help. His that good ?

  • Every set of your every exercise should be like your last set when you said "( i have to power my max )" (but ofcourse your first two should be warming up with easy weights)

  • You shouldn´t be training with any heavy weights at your age, even if you aren´t growing at length anymore your body limbs and muscels can be growing and they might be misformed and don´t grow ouut correctly.
