i worked for mike last year and this year. i was there when the accident happened. mike faired with just a cracked tail bone and a concussion but nonna his horse actually ran head first into the starting car, which laid him up for a month. i never hope to see a accident like this or hal belote at harrington again.

I was grooming that day at Rockingham Michael was pretty bad could of been worst. what pissed alot of drivers off was what the car did to stop the horse and that was hit it with the gate. Not smart! I believe it was about 4 weeks later Michael was back at the track but not driving. He looked good. Hope to see him this year. and yes Rockingham Park is in NH Salem NH. and ummm GING they were pacing not trotting lol
