Just went there yesterday, there are a couple big climbs, some medium ones, and some baby ones, made it up most of em except for 2 big ole basterd on the back side. When I get a paddle tire for my 450 I plan on goin up every one. Only thing is you pick up mad speed on the dirtbikes on the ride down. 3rd gear wide open made most of the hills. Awesome place. Goin to camp a weekend
@mecurycapri Yah I just went up for the first time yesterday and there a hell of alot steeper than they look on utube. But it was mad muddy so alot of the hills had huge washouts or real loose coal so we couldn't make it up most of the hills at the coal hill side.
i have a08 ltr450 i ride here im 14 and i run paddle tires and have alot of work done to my quad these hills r crazy big so if u think there easy come try bet u cant make it to the top

i love watching ppl go up these hills made out of ash my aunt lives on the mountain and we sit out on her porch and watch puffs of dust and crap fly into the air and every once and a while a couple choppers fly over and pick some ppl up, last time we watched the nxt day read that a 80 yr old couple died trying to go up on a 4 wheeler both of them on one wheeler

If you haven't seen these hills in person you have no room to talk. Its steep, but the the worst part is its so loose. If you start losing momentum or power, you better just turn it around cause you aren't gonna make it. If you have paddles on and its stretched then you may have a chance. At the top you usally have a nasty lip/wall you gotta jump. Not everyone wants to risk destroying their wheelers when they decide to tumble down the hill.
i see these exact hills at least once a year and every year i say i wanna take my wheeler up them but ive watched some ppl and noticed at the top there is a bout 2 feet of a lip that almost flips most of the vehicles that make it that far i watched a buggy ride a wheelie str8 up and down after it made it over the top the buggy had 2 ppl in it, this hill is no kidie hill it has claimed many of lives

Thats exactly right, you gotta see them in person to realize how big those hills really are. I rather be on a dirtbike though, its easier to save it if you start spinning or stall it, that way you can just lay it over, rather than having the fourwheeler start rolling(seen it many times up there) Cant wait to get back up there!

Yeah those hill are massive, period! The videos on youtube def doesnt justify how massive they actually they are, you gotta really see them in person. When i first went there, i was like no way am i going up them hills, i just started with the little ones still i felt comfortable enough to move on to bigger climbs. Hopefully in a few weeks or so, the paths will be pretty worn in and not rutted out bad, cant wait!

@Kingtrevorton lol im pretty good at hillclimbs i think, but i have some nasty hillclimbs at this abandoned quarry near my house and as soon as the weather gets ridable ill have videos up, i have some very hard trails to that i mapped out through a boulder feild its pretty badass, im trying to train hard, im hoping to do romaniacs 2013, i should have a new bike soon which i think i will be way better on, well hopefully i see u up at trevorton this year

@xEmcCx watch a bunch, people are climbing with banshees for a reason...my buddies also have quadzillas and 250rs, even some tri-zs and tecates, but i'll stick to a widened banshee with paddles, if you are good on a banshee you can climb almost anything...

Just went there yesterday, there are a couple big climbs, some medium ones, and some baby ones, made it up most of em except for 2 big ole basterd on the back side. When I get a paddle tire for my 450 I plan on goin up every one. Only thing is you pick up mad speed on the dirtbikes on the ride down. 3rd gear wide open made most of the hills. Awesome place. Goin to camp a weekend

@mecurycapri Yah I just went up for the first time yesterday and there a hell of alot steeper than they look on utube. But it was mad muddy so alot of the hills had huge washouts or real loose coal so we couldn't make it up most of the hills at the coal hill side.

i love watching ppl go up these hills made out of ash my aunt lives on the mountain and we sit out on her porch and watch puffs of dust and crap fly into the air and every once and a while a couple choppers fly over and pick some ppl up, last time we watched the nxt day read that a 80 yr old couple died trying to go up on a 4 wheeler both of them on one wheeler

If you haven't seen these hills in person you have no room to talk. Its steep, but the the worst part is its so loose. If you start losing momentum or power, you better just turn it around cause you aren't gonna make it. If you have paddles on and its stretched then you may have a chance. At the top you usally have a nasty lip/wall you gotta jump. Not everyone wants to risk destroying their wheelers when they decide to tumble down the hill.

i see these exact hills at least once a year and every year i say i wanna take my wheeler up them but ive watched some ppl and noticed at the top there is a bout 2 feet of a lip that almost flips most of the vehicles that make it that far i watched a buggy ride a wheelie str8 up and down after it made it over the top the buggy had 2 ppl in it, this hill is no kidie hill it has claimed many of lives

i went here in early 2003 wen i was on summervacation to see my cousins who moved out ther anyways we seen a guy on a xr 650 climb all the way to the top without stoping he basicaly made his own trail going up.

yo im 15 and i ride a kx 500 with a tera flex tire on the rear and u are right those hills are fucking insane u really gotta see them in person and the 500 dont make it sometimes so no little fucking ttr125 is going to make it and yeah u got to fallow the trails that are already made os your fucked trust me i ride there its the shit

Thats exactly right, you gotta see them in person to realize how big those hills really are. I rather be on a dirtbike though, its easier to save it if you start spinning or stall it, that way you can just lay it over, rather than having the fourwheeler start rolling(seen it many times up there) Cant wait to get back up there!

That crap makes me laugh.... just go strait up they say! Those hills are so steep you cant walk up them and some are over 350ft high by GPS. Not to mention the stuff is loose and does not bite. Leave the 15yo's to their XBOX and PS3 where they can pretend they go up this stuff. Go ice your thumb from "players cramp" and add some more percentage points to the child obesity statistic.

Yeah those hill are massive, period! The videos on youtube def doesnt justify how massive they actually they are, you gotta really see them in person. When i first went there, i was like no way am i going up them hills, i just started with the little ones still i felt comfortable enough to move on to bigger climbs. Hopefully in a few weeks or so, the paths will be pretty worn in and not rutted out bad, cant wait!
