They have an unmarked button at the dillards near me and it leads to a third floor you have to look through the windows on the stairwells to see though. the elevator at my dillards is a wornout old schindler so yours is better
Maybe the spare button might be for the fan or lights but you will need to turn a key on the top key button then push the spare button then it might turn off the lights or the fan.
those buttons look like the buttons at the comfort suites hotel in orlando florida I didnt look at the name because I didnt know that there were diffent names of elevators then but it could have been an otis because it had the dirrection arrow indecators like otis in the car but red for down green for up instead of both green I didnt know about youtube then either so sorry no vid
Excellent video! Yeah, I found this rare gem back in late October (I was so inspired by your "Retro 70s Collin Creek Macy's" video that I decided to go up to Plano just to ride the elevators and escalators). According to the Otis article on Wikipedia, ESCO was a short lived division of Otis, specializing in hydraulic elevators. They were based in Fort Worth, Texas.

I think those buttons are made from the GAL Manufacturing Company, and also specialize in non-proprietary door and controller equipment.

You really struck gold, Esco Elevator was part of Otis Elevator, and you have got to see all of my Esco Elevator videos from UT Austin.
