Great stuff man! About the Juno's; which one's your favourite? I've read that the 6 has a sonic edge over the 106 and I wonder why you chose those two and not the 60.

Hi, congratulations! Really nice cover. I wander whether Juno 106 can produce the same sounds that you have created on Juno 6 (it's easier and cheaper to find a second hand 106)? I tried to recreate these sounds on other synts like JX-10 (not very successfully ) and Nova, as well as using some digital stuff and seeing the process of triggering these sounds before your performance was very helpful. Would you mind to share the knowledge about the settings you did? Best regards.

@Dar2603 Hi, yes a 106 would make the same sounds , although not quite as warm as the 6 , but hard to tell the difference really:). Trying to re-create oxygen with digital or vst's kind of takes the fun out of it and never sounds quite right. It took me a few days to prepare all the sounds, some not covered in the video. I have tried this many times over the years and it usually turned out awful. I think the key to this is the percussive "flow" of the original, with delicate sequenced phrases

@mattsynth Cheers matt, always good to hear from you:) Funny how most of you guys love the setup bit, I should do more of it, I thought it would be bloody boring:) never doing a jarre cover again though , too much work and not enough enjoyment. And I mean that as a compliment to Mr. jarre, the notes are easy to find but the actual sound is very difficult to get right. I must have spent 3 or 4 days multitracking this..Ouch:)

WOW, really nice Video. Love the part where youre finding the right Sound on the Junos. Would love to see that in Future Videos, because it shows how hard it is to find the right Sound, especially when doing a Cover Version of a very Famous Song.
