I really wish I could've seen them before they stopped touring. I love this song live. I always think of Tool when I hear it. I like Tool, but I just feel like this is something they could never achieve.
Someone I know dropped some 2-cb before a NIN gig. They had seating tickets and got to witness these visuals through spiral eyes spread out over 3 seats.
anyone who loves NIN should find a common appreciation for the similar audio aesthetic quality that Tool has. If you can't see that, well...pry open your third fucking eye and recognize the art as it is. Maynard and Trent are the rarest of breeds when it comes to artist's still making music in the rock genre, always pushing the boundaries of conscious awareness through lyrics and sound -- and never selling out or following some cliche' formula to sell songs that are faker than barbie!!!
@ergotamine777 Totally agreed you really can't compare both of their early works but as both bands developed and matured with time they seemed to get slighlty bit more similar especially with APC and their works with Danny Lohner AKA Renholder( Red Lohner Backwards) the A-motion album by APC is a true example of this...also Trent and Maynard worked together on a band named Tapeworm there is some contreversy attached to this Passive on E-motive was a Tapeworm song called Vacant Trent was pissed
@thermalmaximum On NiN Albums he was always accrecedited as Red Lohner in thealbum inserts sooo buy a physical Halo and read the insert u won't find thta on the interwebs or some digi DL...
@republicansgoaway No need for apologies...every1 is entitled to their opinion no matter how ridiculous it may be...I can only assume you've only heard what's played on the radio and heard 10K Daze. If that's the I suggest u listen to them in chronological order start at Opiate then work ur way thru...Then maybe just maybe ur opinion would slightly change...goes the same with Incubus u can't truly judge them til u heard SCIENCE. & Enjoy Incubus EP
@Hankd7812 ............ you must be mistaken, I have seen hundreds of shows from coast to coast, I have seen TOOL live.... nothing special , I don't need opiates to help the music, NIN still rocks, TOOL STILL SUCKS get over it
@republicansgoaway Ummm sure buddy w/e u say could you be anymore random...I haven't said boo to you in over a month are u having some sort of acid flashback? The colors man The colors lmao
@republicansgoaway what is your problem obviously there is no excuse for you other than your mother should've used birth control....fuckin creepy ass weirdo.....no more drugs for you
I went to see NIN in Orlando and maybe might have taken a psychedelic and TRIPPED NUTS TO BALLS. It was the most amazing thing I have ever witnessed. I didn't need the help. The show alone was more than enough. LOVE YOU TRENT!
I've seen a shitload of concerts, and this was the best live show I've ever seen. During that song, the effect was amazing, but I was STOKED that they played this song because it's probably my favorite song from Ghosts
@mmaaxx1198 re "has to be a clear sheet with fiber optics in it" - it was several screens, at various depths between the band, which made the 3d visual effect
i was in the 5th row right behind the sound and light guys. gotta say, that NIN concert topped the tool concert i saw last year in st louis. did NOT expect NIN to be that fucking badass live. i cant wait till they come back around the midwest.
I was straight back at this show. Incredibly cool, and from where I was, you couldn't even tell the screens. It was pure awe. Definitely worth the wait!!! And this is one of my favorite graphics from the show, second to the flashlight. It's going to be pretty hard to beat that one.
I was front row, and I still cant hear out of my right ear, but it was all worth it for sure...by far the coolest light show ive ever seen and probably will see
This was the only one I could have gone too, if I knew when it was, and if I had a car and enough cash.. This is an awesome vid though I think I'll favorite it.. Doesn't easily beat "help me I'm in hell" in my book but it probably matches it.
Just go dude. Fuck everything else, this could be your only chance to see them live. I saw them in Tulsa, I drove 5 hours to go to that show, don't make excuses.
I AGREE!! i seen him for the first time about two months ago and he amazed me im so happy i was able to record IT AND be in his presence lol!! TRENT ROCKss!
ya same here i was 2nd row which was fuckin awesome but i moved back halfway through and wow i was glad i did too the visuals were so much better and the sound was better too
I was down on the other side, 2nd section 5 rows back from pre-sale tickets. This was the 6th time I've seen NIN and hands down the best show I've ever been to.
I really wish I could've seen them before they stopped touring. I love this song live. I always think of Tool when I hear it. I like Tool, but I just feel like this is something they could never achieve.
Or something they could never have I should say.

Makes me wonder about project Blue Beam. Then there's Beck singing about Chemtrails on his latest cd. The thing that make you go HMMM?
NIN latest work is incredible. Trent pushes musicians to play to the standards set by new technology.
He beat his machine until it broke showing us that humans are still in control.
Never have I been more inspired by an artist. "nothing can stop me now. Cause I don't care anymore..."
