OMG thank you thank thank you!!!!!!! You were the most helpful when I was researching lomography!!!! OK so the you bought the Diana F+ seperately from the instant back? And the instant back also came with the lenses???
@TheAllieJShow Yeah they're tiny to be honest, and then obviously the quality really decreases when you try to enlarge them. It's nice to have a digital copy though I suppose. Thanks for watching! =] x
Omg I really want them so badly. must wait for Christmas I get the Diana F + and maybe ever, the Polaroid. The very few people here in the Netherlands this camera, but this is really cool, more people need them begin.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!! Ohh you have no idea how much this helped! I'm cheap so I don't want to waste any exposures and this helped tremendously--I'm not afraid to touch my camera anymore! :)
Thank you, this is helpful! You're so elegant and lovely btw. :)
I do have a question: what was going wrong when your pictures turned out black? Was it shutter speed? Light settings (sunny, cloudy, etc)? I don't have a flash, do you think that's ok? I've read a bunch of people saying that they're having problems with that. Not too worried, but if you have any tips, I'd be grateful (and so would my wallet, what with buying more film etc!). <3 -K
This vid is absolutely amazing, thanks for posting it. but i still have a question. In your Diana you have a fisheye lens, and i've been looking for information about the instant back and some people complain that their photos come out totally black... so my question is do you need another lens that's not the one which comes with the camera so the instant back works? i'm sorry if the question is a bit confusing, i'm not english ;p
Hi, firstly, I would like to say that your video is very useful, so thank you for that :)
I purchased the Diana F+ and the Instant Back a month ago and started shooting with it. However, whenever the polariod develops, the image is either skewed to the right or the left. It confuses me because whenever I look in the pinhole, the object is perfectly in the middle. Once the polariod is developed, however, the object is always skewed to the right. I'm really frustrated about it ): Do you know why?
thank you so much! I have been looking for good instant back talk through video for ages and this was great, could really understand everything you were saying and made things really clear and easy. I am a digital photographer but am still getting to grips with my pinhole!
Alright so i purchased the instant back and my first few photos were also black but i got the hang of it. I also had a problem with the correction lens. At first i didn't pop it in far enough. After i fixed that it worked fine but now when i take pictures they come out with a cirlce around them. I know that is one of the effects but it is too large and cuts off a majority of my picture. Do you think i need to push in the lens even further or is that normal?
I got this as a present from my best friend too, and I love it! It was second hand so it was only a Diana + instant back (without a flash), hence lighting is really important to me.
seeing your photos have tempted me to buy another Diana F+ for flash purposes. :)
@jonguyen89 The flash is amazing! Especially with the gels! Save your money buying an extra Diana and just get the flash on its own and some lenses! ..
Hi. Thanks for making the video, it's given me a better idea of what the instant back is like. I just got a Diana + and am trying to decide between the 35mm back or the instant back. Now you have used both, which one would you recommend trying first? I really can't decide! :)

@PieChant No you can't. You have to take the film attachment off in order to fit the instant back on! xx

one for question: when you showed us pictures you've taken on the camera. How did you do the first one ? did you use a glow stick or something ?
RavieNicole1 7 months ago
@RavieNicole1 I used a torch, it wasn't a very bright one though. But a glow stick would have probably been better! xx

Hi Lola, I'm planning on getting the Instant back.
I got few questions : why were your first pictures black ? Also, once the Fujifilm is finished, how do you remove it ?
Thanks for your answer and thank you so much for the video, it will help me a lot ! :)

Hi. Thanks for making the video, it's given me a better idea of what the instant back is like. I just got a Diana + and am trying to decide between the 35mm back or the instant back. Now you have used both, which one would you recommend trying first? I really can't decide! :)
JamesRWaugh1 1 year ago
@JamesRWaugh1
Oooo that's a tricky one! I love them both!
The instant back is really fun, but the film can get expensive ..
You can't go wrong with the 35mm back - you can even shoot over the sprocket holes! ..
If the money is no option get the instant back! You won't regret it ..
But if the budget is a little tight then go for the 35mm and an extra lens as well! =p ..
Whichever you decide though you won't regret ..
Diana F+ & accessories are just brilliant! ..
