I was lucky. I went in and they hooked me up to the IV. I remember saying "Ah, this works." And I was out. It felt like a woke up as soon as I fell asleep and I was done. Teeth gone and completely fine. This isn't worth stressing ten minutes over.

thats exactly how i was, playing with my numb lip and tongue. i didn't have any pain or anything, i got all 4 of mine out, all were impacted, 2 were in bone. i actually stopped taking the vicodin on the second day after i got em out. now 9 days later all but one of the stitches are dissolved.

fyi, protein shakes from places like vitamin world are great for after. They have a ton of nutrition which is awesome if you can't eat. They don't taste to bad either. They are nice and cold too which is great for the areas of treatment.

okay soooo... I get mine out on June 29th and I have a horseback riding camp on the 6th till the 11th... thats a full week recovery before the camp starts... does anyone know if that will enough time to recover at least well enough that I'll be able to go to camp? I expect pain (and lots of it) for at least 3 days, then the pain gradually decreases.... should I have minimal pain after a full 7 days?

i had this done today too! the drun injected didnt hurt a bit! but when taken out the tooth, you can still feel preasure and therefore you can still feel some pain! well i did lol, don't know about any other people. Anyway, its been like 6 hours since i got it taken out, and tbh i feel like killin' myself, kinda hurts a bit, keeop bleeding! hard to stop it!

I had all of my wisdome theeth taken out, 2 on January 2nd, then 2 on May 7th. Both times the dentist had to give me more medication because I wasn't sedated enough, which really sucks because I remember it all, and felt everything. It wasn't until after they were done removing them I started to feel loopy, weird and tired. They never even game me pain killers.
