I love 80's cartoons and 90's too, shows like he man, she ra, gi joe, even sonic the hedgehog would be amusing but would teach you lessons, now today carp like adventure time, the amazing world of gumball and regular cartoon teaches ya nothing but crap
Whats with everyone nitpicking over these videos? They don't do this in cartoons anymore and you know what? Kids these days don't know shit. To our generation, staying put when you're lost is common sense because it was preached to us by our childhood heros but children these days don't know that.
No, miss sticky fingers isn't a foster girl, if youd paid attention, Jem suggested to her that she should ask her *parents* what she could do to earn the money. -_-
@sillygrl23 Yeah, because G.I. Joe, Jem and Transformers were all made by the same production companies, Sunbow and Marvel Productions, so it made sense for all of them to have identical PSAs.
@wileyk209zback Oh well that makes sense...I would see the GI Joe ones and Transformer ones and immediately I was wondering why would they be the same, but that explains it right there. Also with Jem you could always explain how she would show up out of nowhere whereas with the GI Joes it was a tad far fetch.
@philipbabb "Illegally downloading music is wrong" "I didn't know it was illegal. Now I know the right thing to do" "And doing the right thing makes you a superstar!"
Very much like the GI Joe PSAs...similar situations and dialogue, only major difference is they're geared towards a female audience and the chance of the tagline from "knowing is half the battle" to "doing the right thing makes you a superstar".
Well Sunbow did both shows, and Jam and G.I.Joe are both owned by Hasbro so it makes a lot of sense. The dialogue is almost word for word, yes except for the tagline as you mentioned.
There was another one after Broadway Magic where Jem says to the guy who is being pressurised into spraying graffiti on a wall that he doesn't have to follow a crowd and that he can be himself, to which he does. :)
Jem is very much a guardian angel and a good moral conscience rolled into one, who sometimes brings along Kimber, Shana or Aja who also give good advice on morality.
Nice to see the Starlight girls and Danny from the Music Awards Part 2 as well. :)
Jem wil always be rememberd as the girl with the pink hair, But she will always be rememberd with the girl with the Pink fried hair!!!!!!!!!!!!
